Well, WearOS is easier to sideload and do things without PC...

That's all what I can say...

I own watch3 (kept it for the shm mod support) and watch4...

How do I actually install the modded app? I've made an account and registered but can't figure out how to actually install it or download it

You'll find a Google drive section, you can download from there...

Or you can play the YouTube tutorial on YouTube because the video description also has download links...

Hi Dante63, awesome effort on the workaround! So many of us took Samsung's smart watch bait and found out later that some of the key features only work if you buy their phone too ...

However, your modified Samsung Health Monitor app that I installed from your Google drive crashes at the age drop down every time I want to create my profile. I am on Android version 9. Any ideas?

After inputting my samsung account and password, a window pops out saying generation failed with a red x mark but no further description about the error. I don't know what went wrong. Tizen Studio has to be 4.1.1 version as is mentioned in the document or is 5.0 also fine?

New version works fine...
But the error you speak of could be
1. an issue with Samsung servers (you can try contacting Samsung to know for sure)
2. If Samsung said everything is fine then try reinstall Tizen-studio (keep in mind, changing how tizen installed, other than change letter will break Tizen-studio, it should be as it is unless you changed the drive letter, that's fine to do)
3. If still problem persist, try a different computer (you can try virtual machine)

Watch is not a substitute for medical equipment, you use it when you can't access the medical equipment...

In other words, portability and accessibility...

This is written in the app itself as user agreement that you accept at every calibration if I'm not mistaken and it is also mentioned in how to use BP...

I have the exact problem. I also have an Active2 and everything installed fine but the finger is not detected. I checked and have the same software version as you have. @Dante63 problem seems to be related to the new software version. Is it possible to sort this out? I was looking forward to using the ECG function.
I have used your other Android mod on a Huawei Honor phone with a Watch 4 (WearOS) and it worked perfectly.

Might be hardware issue or software or just dirty probe...

You can turn off the watch and Try washing under baby warm water and press the probe (button you put your finger on) then dry the watch with tissue and leave it to dry even more on its own...

If that didn't work, reset the watch and try...

Didn't work, it's possible to assume that the hardware failed...

I could not get it to work again. You may be correct in it being a software issue as it seemed to happen after an update.
No way to go back to an earlier version of SW?

I bought a GW4 and it's working great.

    Hello friends. I check how use SHM original app. I am tested Tizen and Wear OS.

    1. Change phone csc region SHM available country. 41 country. I am test 3 country
    Israel ILO, Ukraine SEK, Vietnam XXV. This country call recorder active.

    2. Download from https://samfw.com/
    SamFW FRP tool. Easy change csc. Not format, not root. There are have instruction

    3. Tizen watch need change csc BP and ECG working country. I change my GW3 csc to DBT.

    4. Wear os needn't change csc. My watch 5 csc is SER russian.

    5. I remove my phone set feautures folder, and 3 party app. SHM & SH sync not problem.

    6. My GW 3 & GW 5, BP & ECG working.

    1. Tizen SHM MOD and WearOS SHM MOD...?
      The watch4 original SHM can't communicate with the phone MOD, and it's not possible to completly remove the original SHM from the watch4, so I had to create WearOS MOD and rename the previous MOD to Tizen MOD...
    2. Do I need root...?
      No root is required...
    3. Does this void my warranty?
      No it does not void the warrenty or trip the know or damage the watch or the phone...
    4. OTA effect on MOD & MOD effects on OTA.
      No Effects, the MOD is independant...
    5. Run_me.bat Java "main" errors and JDK15.
      Open CMD and type 'Java --version', if it doesn't say Java 15, then you will struggle with such error, uninstall any JDK and reinstall JDK 15, run the command again, you should see Java 15...
    6. Connecting to the watch isn't working.
      Firewall, antivirus, defender, anything that filters the internet can block the connection of the watch, so make sure to disable all internet security, if it doesn't connect yet, reboot the pc and the watch and try again...

    • looks for /vendor/build.prop

    • removes sakv2 from the line in system.prop (it will remove sakv2 from the line (hopefully) wherever it exists, beginning, end or middle)
    I had planned to test this new "fix" for a while before releasing the module to stop people from manually editing the existing file, as using magisk is preferable as its easily reversible, but once i saw posts on XDA about it, i figured id release this now

    As mentioned above, there may be side effects to this "fix", ymmv

    Note: You still need to make sure you have Samsung Health added to Magisk's Deny List, ideally with Shamiko installed (if using Shamiko dont forget to disable Enforce Deny List)

    I have followed his steps and generated unsigned TPKs, you just need to sign it...
    After signing it with Tizen studio, you either push it sdb or you can use the TPK installer which you decompile, place the tpk in assets and compile it again...

    Thanks for this Guide by @xxstd (download 1 to 3, don't use 4 or 5, use mine and proceed with the rest) for how to sign TPKs

    According to Samsung, The Samsung Health Monitor app requires a Galaxy Watch Active2 or Galaxy Watch3 and later models, alongside having Android version 7.0 and above...
