In watch settings there is an option to disable random MAC.The only thing that slowed me down is the fact that I have a MAC filter on my rooter. I found that the MAC address that the watch gives in its settings/about is not correct. Every time I connect the watch to different network, its MAC is different. Don't know why. Had to use some tools to establish with which MAC address it gets connected.
Thanks again, mate.
In wifi setting when you click on network which you are not connected to, click advanced and this setting should be at the bottom. Note that it's specific to each network so I suggest untick it for your home networks and leave enabled for any other.
Do you need to uninstall the original one? Is it needed for it to work? Sorry for all the questions I'm just an amateur when it comes to all the technical side
Not needed, my video is very outdated, I will update it hopefully this week, it will be very proper and straightforward video Tutorial...
As far as I know, works on any device, I only had one case with someone that decided to sell the phone, it was Chinese device
You need that to pair and connect to your watch4
1. You posted twice, but it's ok, next time try to post once...Hi Dante
Tx for doing this. I'm following your video tutorial but can't seem to get passed the first part
I am in South Africa and currently have the Samsung health app installed. Not the Samsung health monitor. Am I to delete this app and only have the Samsung health monitor installed?
My watch syncs with the health app but not with the health monitor app.
Also when I install the health monitor app on my phone and open it, I do not have the option to enable the BP and ecg under settings. Only have the options as attached. Even If I click on version to enable developer mode, that option doesn't come up
Hoping you can assist.
Screenshot below. I have the galaxy watch 4, and galaxy s20 ultra
My bad! I didn't even know there was such a thing. I'll install and give it a try.
There is a section for the sync, 4 minutes video, simple and easy to followhello, Dante63 63, I managed to install monitor on the watch and on the phone. by following your video. Blood pressure and ECG work fine on the watch and on the phone monitor. it just lacks the automatic synchronization with samsung health. I followed your video very well and the instructions on the post. i also downloaded and installed an older version of samsung healt 6.15.6.001, but samsung healt requires update before entering development mode. with the update in development mode, the application hides "set freatures". therefore impossible to configure "healt analytic and data platform". so I manually insert the voltage measurements on "samsung health". if you can manage to solve this problem, i would be very grateful. It is a great achievement to have the monitor working already with your help, and I congratulate you and I am very grateful to you. thanks again . have a good day. translation from French to English by Google Translate

Ok, now let's begin:
- Tizen SHM MOD and WearOS SHM MOD...?
The watch4 original SHM can't communicate with the phone MOD, and it's not possible to completly remove the original SHM from the watch4, so I had to create WearOS MOD and rename the previous MOD to Tizen MOD...
- Do I need root...?
No root is required...
- Does this void my warranty?
No it does not void the warrenty or trip the know or damage the watch or the phone...
- OTA effect on MOD & MOD effects on OTA.
No Effects, the MOD is independant...
- Do I need to install both phone and watch MODs?
Yes, you need both, keep in mind, the apk with word phone is for phone and the watch4 is for the watch...
- Where is the IP Address?
You can find it inside the developer options after you enable the ADB Wi-Fi, it takes time though, alternativly, you can go to connections -> wifi -> the wifi you are connected to -> scroll down and you'll find your IP...
- Can I do this from my phone?
Yes, you can use Bugjeager if you don't like to type commands or Remote ADB Shell if you want to type the commands...
- How do I update?
Just install it again and it will update, whether you install the phone app or the watch app...
- Do I need Samsung Health MOD, is there even such thing...?
There is no Samsung Health MOD, Samsung Health is a core application, modding it will break many services, using official Samsung Health works fine...
Now here is an update of mine if the above does not work and Galaxy Wearables keeps disconnecting from the watch4
Initially it was Huawei devices but this solution works for other devices as well...
This fix is done by Reddit u/Relative_Comparison2 & u/MelodicMaintenance
You need Galaxy Wearables & Watch4 Plugin installed, now do the following steps:
- Download Samsung Health.
- start Samsung health then go to accessories and search for your watch (scan).
- Samsung Health will call Galaxy Wearables to set up the connection and a normal setup is performed.
It was Explained that you need to have the following apps installed:
Give all permissions to Galaxy Wearables and the Watch4 plugin by going app info, scroll down, permission and grant all...
Now Clear the data of the following applications:
The phone will start acting up, that's normal, so restart your phone to allow system app to rebuild itself, when the phone starts, do not configure your google account yet, first try connecting to the Watch4 again through Samsung Health and it should work, after that you can do whatever you want for google...
- Google Play Services
- Google Play Framework
- Google Play Store
- HwWifiproBqeService (For Huawei devices only, skip if you are not Huawei)
One last note, disable any battery optimization, some phones have aggressive optimization, they will kill background services, this will stop the watch4 from pairing, if you can't disable it, then whitelist galaxy wearble and the watch4 plugin!
pm disable-user --user 0 com.samsung.android.shealthmonitorand exiting the shell and disconnecting... instructions updated...
