And that's where I say "according to the icon, you installed the phone app on your watch, aka wrong app, remove it and install the watch app"
This isn't the watch app?

What patch, where does it say root required...?
Did you even read the BP sync enabler...?
Nope, watch app has word "watch" in its name and it has a different icon, you can see at the top of the main post the picture of all phone apps icons and watch apps icons...
No no, I apologize that I changed the title and the thread format into shm mod companion - BP sync enable, get updates bla bla bla...You wrote " Read "Samsung Health BP Sync" ".
So I go to the first page of this thread, CTRL+F, search for " "BP Sync". So I went for the text at the bottom of the screenshot (Github link) rather than watching the video (I tend to prefer reading documentation rather than videos). So I assume it isn't related, apologies but I guess I'm not familiar with the way you format text (or the way XDA supports it).
From the mocking tone of your writing I appreciate you think I am an idiot.. Fine then I'm an idiot, it seems I'm performing school boy errors. But please understand I'm not a watch/phone app expert, nor do I come to XDA that often, I'm effectively newbie, and I am actually putting effort into this. I may be stupid but I am not dumb. I still appreciate your work. Thanks.
You Sir are a genius. Thankyou...Nope, watch app has word "watch" in its name and it has a different icon, you can see at the top of the main post the picture of all phone apps icons and watch apps icons...

I have been patiently guiding everyone but at some time I get frustrated when people ask for help in a wrong way (little details, or didn't go through the thread)...
But the BP sync is not so clear, that is my fault alone, I should write more about it under the app Shm mod companion...
I have spent so much time developing the companion (and still working on it) so it will be the all-in-one tool for sideloading the mod and installing it as well without people accidentally installing phone app on the watch or having so many questions or difficulties...
So again, I apologize, I will reorganize the thread and try to make the BP sync clearer... and no one is stupid or dumb, not you or anyone... but some tend to rush and lack of patience to go through a lot and some skip videos but I try my best to provide many options so I would be able to cover everyone's preferences (yet I fail because I'm an individual that does everything altogether)...
I'm more than happy to hear suggestions though that would improve the thread...
Ps. Use the companion, it's everything you'll ever need...
I will give it a try and report my experienceA test on Android 9 would be great. Android 10/11 are supported, but I still haven’t been able to fix Secure folder on A11.
I will give it a try and report my experience
PS. Sorry for my bad English im actually German![]()
Sure
OK -trying to get it all to Sync with Samsung Health.
In Samsung Health original app I've set Health analytics to DEV and developer mode is on, forced stop, cleared cache.
It isn't a step in your "SHM MOD Companion" under "BP Sync", but I've managed to work out via one of your videos that the modded wear OS/Samsung app needs All permissions turned on, I've also allowed Blood Pressure and Electrocardiogram as well.
I restarted the phone for good luck.
I went into original Samsung Health and forced sync via pull down method. Unfortunately it isn't sync'ing. I've probably missed something.
BTW FeatureManagerOn is in the SamsungHealth folder.
--- EDIT STOP THE PRESS - SUCCESS! --
I had to take another blood pressure reading on the watch and then it all sync'd. I'll post this nevertheless just in case the feedback is useful.
Also from your documentation I understand ECG data doesn't sync with the Samsung cloud (Samsung haven't implemented it).
Thanks again...

Thanks again...
Samsung Health sync is for Samsung health data only...Hmmm seems like I have to run the modded health app on the phone first before it syncs in the Samsung cloud. Guess that makes sense, but it would be nice if that wasn't required. Maybe I need to read some more.
Good point, will add it...
Crashing...?221 works well. 227 can't connect. When I reinstalled 227, I couldn't even open it.
I'd better stick to 221. (Xiaomi Max 2 Android 13)
Crashing...?
What's the behavior of the app...?
I'd appreciate some logs...
Good point, will add it...
Thanks for the feedback...
I really can't think of everything on my own because what I see or try to see may not cover everything altogether...
So I will add that and hopefully that will be covering everything for users in the future not to be confused...
Could you first share a screenshot of the apps you installed (or tried to install)...?I updated this app from 221 to 227, I could launch it but couldn't connect to my watch.
Then I reinstalled 227, I couldn't launch it, it just force stopped.
How do I get the logs?

You sure you only installed that because the behavior of force stop only occurs with stock shm and not mod...I updated this app from 221 to 227, I could launch it but couldn't connect to my watch.

Yes, I downloaded 227 from SHM mod companion, and then it force stopped. You sure you only installed that because the behavior of force stop only occurs with stock shm and not mod...
You did mention that the mod didn't work after upgrading to 227 & it showed no watch compatible... is your watch on 221?
Very unlikely to work without rooting your device and it's a Longshot with rooted device, I attempted to mod and failed, didn't quit yet, just thinking about it from time to time, hopefully a light bulb would shine above my head for an approach lol...Any idea how to make the new battery health check in Samsung members work with non Samsung phones?
Do you see any mention of Tizen Studio...?Hi!
I have a watch5 pro. No Samsung phone. Does it work with this watch?
Note: JDK15 no longer works with Tizen studio 5. (Device Manager)
No, just calibrate if you want accurate results, enter dummy values if you want false positive results...Hello.... Just wondering if there is any way to bypass the recalibration period each 28 days, it is really annoying and will make it useless to have BP on watch while you had to have BP measurement device at home to do recalibration each 28 days, is there any way to ignore recalibration? Or a chance to add such feature to the modded SHM?
Instructions are on the first page.
First I want to say to article authors, thank you for your efforts to publish an article on this, but please do not copy and paste into your article as content may change and please provide link to the thread so people can get help and ask questions...
Ok, now let's begin:
- Tizen SHM MOD and WearOS SHM MOD...?
The watch4 original SHM can't communicate with the phone MOD, and it's not possible to completly remove the original SHM from the watch4, so I had to create WearOS MOD and rename the previous MOD to Tizen MOD...- Do I need root...?
No root is required...- Does this void my warranty?
No it does not void the warrenty or trip the know or damage the watch or the phone...- OTA effect on MOD & MOD effects on OTA.
No Effects, the MOD is independant...- Do I need to install both phone and watch MODs?
Yes, you need both, keep in mind, the apk with word phone is for phone and the watch4 is for the watch...- Where is the IP Address?
You can find it inside the developer options after you enable the ADB Wi-Fi, it takes time though, alternativly, you can go to connections -> wifi -> the wifi you are connected to -> scroll down and you'll find your IP...- Can I do this from my phone?
Yes, you can use my Geminiman WearOS Manager...- How do I update?
Just install the updated files I release and it will update, whether you install the phone app or the watch app...- Do I need Samsung Health MOD, is there even such thing...?
I do not encourge using Samsung Health MOD, Samsung Health is a core application, modding it will break many services, using official Samsung Health is safer and better...- What is BP Sync and is there an ECG Sync...?
BP or blood pressure data can be saved in Samsung Health Cloud, allowing you to view all of your BP to be seen on Samsung Health app and no, there is no ECG sync and never was, ECG can only be exported as PDF and Excel file...
Now here is an update of mine if the above does not work and Galaxy Wearables keeps disconnecting from the watch4
Initially it was Huawei devices with Watch4 but this solution works for other devices as well as other Samsung WearOS watches...
This fix is done by Reddit u/Relative_Comparison2 & u/MelodicMaintenance
You need Galaxy Wearables & Watch4/5 Plugin installed, now do the following steps:
- Download Samsung Health.
- start Samsung health then go to accessories and search for your watch (scan).
- Samsung Health will call Galaxy Wearables to set up the connection and a normal setup is performed.
It was Explained that you need to have the following apps installed:
Galaxy Wearable & Watch 4/5 plug-in
Give all permissions to Galaxy Wearables and the Watch4/5 plugin by going app info, scroll down, permission and grant all...
Now Clear the data of the following applications:
The phone will start acting up, that's normal, so restart your phone to allow system app to rebuild itself, when the phone starts, do not configure your google account yet, first try connecting to the Watch4/5 again through Samsung Health and it should work, after that you can do whatever you want for google...
- Google Play Services
- Google Play Framework
- Google Play Store
- HwWifiproBqeService (For Huawei devices only, skip if you are not Huawei)
One last note, disable any battery optimization, some phones have aggressive optimization, they will kill background services, this will stop the watch4/5 from pairing, if you can't disable it, then whitelist galaxy wearble and the watch4/5 plugin!
Please use the Knox Patch Module:
Samsung Health Security PropsRemoves "sakv2" from ro.security.keystore.keytype to help make Samsung Health run on rooted devices. This doesnt mean its a universal "fix" and works on every device every time, so ymmv....
Disclaimer: The changes made by this module may have ramifications/consequences beyond what you may be using it for (Samsung Health). I have tested it for several days and havent found any personally, but this doesnt mean they dont exist. You use this at your own risk
This module:
looks for /vendor/build.propif found, it copies the ro.security.keystore.keytype line (in case not everyone has the same keytypes in the line - i hate using static files, i write modules to use whats on each device) to a new system.prop file in the modules folderremoves sakv2 from the line in system.prop (it will remove sakv2 from the line (hopefully) wherever it exists, beginning, end or middle)I had planned to test this new "fix" for a while before releasing the module to stop people from manually editing the existing file, as using magisk is preferable as its easily reversible, but once i saw posts on XDA about it, i figured id release this now
As mentioned above, there may be side effects to this "fix", ymmv
Note: You still need to make sure you have Samsung Health added to Magisk's Deny List, ideally with Shamiko installed (if using Shamiko dont forget to disable Enforce Deny List)
