Well, you can read about how to make a logcat (you will need a pc to either make logs or use a phone app and on pc run an adb command to grant the app access to logs)...

Or stay on the version you have and wait for me, I'm getting a new phone soon with Android 13 (despite many tested on A13 with no issues, I will test it on my own)...

It's either something you're doing wrong or your phone is doing something or has something interacting with the mod...

Just received my watch 4 classic today. Followed readme in companion app to sideload modded samsung health monitor & remove stock one and install modded phone apk. Everything works just fine on Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G and I can see updated Blood Pressure and EKG Results on the phone too. Thank you very much for your mod, again: works perfect.

My only issue is most likely beyond the scope of the mod but I'd like to ask about it anyway: Every single of the watch features work but one: Locate the phone, I press Start, there is note jumping animation but phone doesnt react in any way. Is there some missing permission for Samsung wearables app or setting to make it work and I just missed it?

edit: that was quick to Solve. On the phone (for my xiaomi):
Settings -> Apps -> Permissions -> Other Permissions -> Galaxy 4 Watch Manager -> Set "Display over other apps when running in background" and "Display on the Lock Screen" to Always Allow.

Hello danta and thank you for this amazing mod, my problem is that after i insall both app on the watch and both app on my phone and i go to my watch to try ECG or Blood P the app tells me to open the app on my phone , i open it but and after the searching phase of the watch my phone app tells me that no watch was found.

PS. after installing the apps i disabled wifi and enabled bluetooth but still nothing , the phone can't find the watch.

If watch mod opens the phone mod successfully, restart both phone and watch and they should detect each other

I solved it rofl, i uninstalled the app on the watch and then installed it again with geminiMan WearOS Manager, don't know why but it doesn't matter , the app works perfectly now , only downsize it still doesn't open the app on my phone when i press on the watch but it doesn't matter. Thanks for you amazin work.

Once the app starts working, the watch won't be able to open the phone app...

Thanks for your work !
I am trying to get it to work on a Redmi 9 Note Pro (Android 12).
I have a GW5 Pro.
I can install the app on the phone and on the watch, I can even calibrate the blood pressure.
But when I try to access it from the watch it says : "...To enable this feature, install Samsung Health Monitor on your phone" And there is a text saying Download the app scrolling through.
On the phone, all seems to work in the Samsung health monitor app, I can press syn and it does not give errors, calibrate the blodd pressure seems to work fine etc.
But yeah on the watch I cannot use Blood pressure or ECG inside the SHM app.
Any ideas ?

Update : if I calibrate the blood presure, I am able to take a measurement from the watch and it syncs it back to the phone. But if I close and reopen the app on the watch, it always gives me the above scenario.

    Very unlikely to work without rooting your device and it's a Longshot with rooted device, I attempted to mod and failed, didn't quit yet, just thinking about it from time to time, hopefully a light bulb would shine above my head for an approach lol...

    But at the same time, I'm thinking about making a proper battery details instead of the shallow details of galaxy wearable...

    Do you see any mention of Tizen Studio...?
    Kindly go through the thread, I know you came from Tizen thread, you'd see on Tizen it is mentioned (watch3 and active 2) and you have watch5, and on this thread it's mentioned (watch4, 5 and above), so your watch is supported...

    Just grab a coffee and get in the mood, watch the video, it's super short (I still haven't made written instructions yet since the video is new)...

    And you'll get it working in no time...

    No, just calibrate if you want accurate results, enter dummy values if you want false positive results...

    The whole purpose of calibration is having as accurate as possible results...

    I actually didn't think it was there but i saw an ecg tab briefly in sh then it was gone and thought it might be possible ... thanks for your work I really appreciate it.

    Superb and amazing work done by Dante63.
    I was having trouble installing the watch app then found and corrected my error of running the adb software after installing in the root folder.
    Also the sync with Samsung health was enabled only after stopping and clearing cache of the Samsung health program a couple of times.

    Yes, tried to take photo but kept washing out, sorry. I first installed from someone else's video and can see from yours he left some important things out. It did work well the way he instructed for two days but BP was off by a lot second day, ECG good, LTE no go - Mint & the battery is almost 24hrs. Next time, Galaxy 5 & will follow you directly!

      No root is required...
    3. Does this void my warranty?
      No it does not void the warrenty or trip the know or damage the watch or the phone...
    4. OTA effect on MOD & MOD effects on OTA.
      No Effects, the MOD is independant...
    5. Do I need to install both phone and watch MODs?
      Yes, you need both, keep in mind, the apk with word phone is for phone and the watch4 is for the watch...
    6. Where is the IP Address?
      You can find it inside the developer options after you enable the ADB Wi-Fi, it takes time though, alternativly, you can go to connections -> wifi -> the wifi you are connected to -> scroll down and you'll find your IP...
    7. Can I do this from my phone?
      Yes, you can use my Geminiman WearOS Manager...
    8. How do I update?
      Just install the updated files I release and it will update, whether you install the phone app or the watch app...
    9. Do I need Samsung Health MOD, is there even such thing...?
      I do not encourge using Samsung Health MOD, Samsung Health is a core application, modding it will break many services, using official Samsung Health is safer and better...
    10. What is BP Sync and is there an ECG Sync...?
      BP or blood pressure data can be saved in Samsung Health Cloud, allowing you to view all of your BP to be seen on Samsung Health app and no, there is no ECG sync and never was, ECG can only be exported as PDF and Excel file...

    ~~~ Pairing issues with Watch4/5 on Galaxy Wearables (Watch4/5 not supported!) ~~~​

    Initially it was Huawei devices with Watch4 but this solution works for other devices as well as other Samsung WearOS watches...​

    This fix is done by Reddit u/Relative_Comparison2 & u/MelodicMaintenance​


    You need Galaxy Wearables & Watch4/5 Plugin installed, now do the following steps:
    1. Download Samsung Health.
    2. start Samsung health then go to accessories and search for your watch (scan).
    3. Samsung Health will call Galaxy Wearables to set up the connection and a normal setup is performed.

    Now here is an update of mine if the above does not work and Galaxy Wearables keeps disconnecting from the watch4
    It was Explained that you need to have the following apps installed:

    Galaxy Wearable & Watch 4/5 plug-in​

    Give all permissions to Galaxy Wearables and the Watch4/5 plugin by going app info, scroll down, permission and grant all...​

    Now Clear the data of the following applications:​

    • Google Play Services
    • Google Play Framework
    • Google Play Store
    • HwWifiproBqeService (For Huawei devices only, skip if you are not Huawei)
    The phone will start acting up, that's normal, so restart your phone to allow system app to rebuild itself, when the phone starts, do not configure your google account yet, first try connecting to the Watch4/5 again through Samsung Health and it should work, after that you can do whatever you want for google...

    One last note, disable any battery optimization, some phones have aggressive optimization, they will kill background services, this will stop the watch4/5 from pairing, if you can't disable it, then whitelist galaxy wearble and the watch4/5 plugin!

    • removes sakv2 from the line in system.prop (it will remove sakv2 from the line (hopefully) wherever it exists, beginning, end or middle)
    I had planned to test this new "fix" for a while before releasing the module to stop people from manually editing the existing file, as using magisk is preferable as its easily reversible, but once i saw posts on XDA about it, i figured id release this now

    As mentioned above, there may be side effects to this "fix", ymmv

    Note: You still need to make sure you have Samsung Health added to Magisk's Deny List, ideally with Shamiko installed (if using Shamiko dont forget to disable Enforce Deny List)

    The SHM MOD on the WearOS Watch Has an M Heartbeat as a logo to distinguish it from the Original SHM. Also, SHM MOD Widgets on the watch Have a Ring to make it very friendly to the eye...​

    So what's new in SHM 1.1.1.191:
    • New layout BP ISO activity - probably details about BP
    • Canada BP & ECG Support
    • Israel BP & ECG Support
    • Taiwan got BP Support now
    • Ukraine BP & ECG Support
    • Vietnam BP & ECG Support
    • Latin America BP & ECG Support
    • South Africa BP & ECG Support
    • BP Calibration Code changed
    • checkUpdateInterfaceWithLocation method, you will hate this very much, according to the logic of the code, BP & ECG is now enabled and locked based on location, so if you travel, brace yourself for "service not avaliable"
    • About section has isNoneApproveCountry which tells you whether country is approved or not, what's the point of this since the app doesn't run in none supported country you ask...? I have no clue...
    • CSC check sim card on Latin American and Caribbean (SELA)

    And th.. th... th... that's all folks...

    Due to the major changes, here is my plan:
    • Release the MOD without Darkmode in beta test...
    • If all goes well, it goes public and I start working on Darkmode and it goes into beta test...
    • If all goes well too, it goes live...

    I will do this on Weekend where I grab a big cup of coffee and go through Samsung Messy Code, wish me luck lol
