Another thing, watch steps don't get synced with Google fit on phone. So installed Fit app on watch too. Fit on watch drains battery. My health insurance company takes only Fit data for discount on premium after reaching the target

All done, working fine. Thank you so much.

Struggled a lot at the end as the the app wasn't recognizing the watch. That was because watch bluetooth was still off.
Somewhere in the beginning there was an instruction to turn watch bluetooth off but I think I missed the instruction when to turn it on again.

Hi Dante63 thanks for your hard work in getting this to work been using last 9 months with no problems and only just found your mod companion 1 month ago which simplified everything. I use galaxy watch classic 4 in New Zealand which today Samsung has updated watch and now able to install Samsung health monitor with no restrictions.

Hey all, recently got gw 5 and loving it. I was able to install SHM mod and companion without any issues using ADB over WiFi.

When I try to sideload any other APK, I'm met with an install error as though it thinks the file isn't an APK.

Has anyone resolved this on their watch before?

Either you're installing something exist (the error should've been different though) or you're installing something with bad signature or no signature at all...

Hi,

I just recently got the the galaxy watch 5 pro, i have an Oppo 5X.

Can this work with that? does this only help with the health apps or is there any solutions to get the LTE working as well?

There Is a newer patch for SHM Watch MOD then the one I have installed.
I can not get ADB to work over wi-fi.
Everything appears correct but I can not get it to work period.
From my phone I have tried to use the following to sideload:
SHM MOD Companion
GeminiMan WearOS Manager
and
Easy Fire Tools.
Everything reports the Watch does not have debugging on.
Not sure what to do?
The Watch shows wireless bedugging on with a ip and port showing.

Hi, sorry to bother but I wanted to ask a question. I used your mods when I got my watch 4 a year ago and ecg worked fine. I stopped using it for a while but recently tried using it again, just to see it completely broken. Either gets almost no readings or the line jumps all over the screen telling me to stay still. Heart rate reading on top jumping from 60 to 130 and back, even tho if I go back to the HR display its completely fine. I updates all your apps just in case, but it still doesn't work. Any ideas or is my watch broken somehow? Any help appreciated.

I will try to add wireless debugging today for WearOS manager and shm mod companion...

This is google genius "security" solution, it made a lot of developers frustrated including myself...

You see, despite debug over Wi-Fi does not work until you allow incoming connection, that is not secure, they removed that and decided to use wireless debugging, you need to pair the watch, then and only then you can connect to watch entering IP address and port number that changes every time...

You can temporarily use PC adb, or wait for my release...

1. Change watch strap and try measuring again...

2. Turn it off, gently wash the watch under baby warm water, press the probe button (the button you place your finger on it)... that should clear any oils and dirt... after that dry it with tissue and leave it to dry more on its own for 30 mins at least... power it on and try measuring again...

One of these two might help in making it work correctly again... if not, probe might be damaged....

Hey! Firstly amazing job and thank you for putting in the effort and your time in developing this mod. And I wanted to ask if I can delete the SHM Mod Companion on my Watch 4? But obviously not deleting the Samsung Health Monitor app. And I wanted to ask if Samsung Health also syncs ECG and shows it on the app along with Heart rate and Stress. Cuz I've only seen Blood Pressure being shown on your video and I personally haven't tried Blood Pressure yet.

Yes, you can delete the SHM Mod Companion app on both Watch and Phone.
BP Sync is working fine. ECG is not integrated with Samsung Health, so not possible. Anyway, reports are always available in Samsung Health Monitor app.

Hi, is there a solution for Huawei Handys without Play Services? (P40 Pro, P40, P50...) I be tried many things but at least my watch isn't responding... I can connect via Bluetooth... I can connect via Samsung health app... But my watch shows still the menu with welcome choose your language...
Is there a solution? What can I try?

GMS (Google services) are required...
Usually for Huawei, you connect through Samsung Health...

If the watch is stuck on welcome, hard reset it by holding both side buttons, when you see rebooting press the top button several times till you enter boot menu, tap once to navigate, long press to select...

Uninstall WearOS by Google... clear data of Samsung Health and remove any Bluetooth pair from Bluetooth settings...

Connect to the watch through Samsung Health...

If that doesn't work, search Google, YouTube or go to Huawei forums, there might be a solution that has been tested and working...

    Because both ECG tile enabler & linker and SHM have the same package name, even tizen shm mod...

    3 apps will conflict Because each app has a different signature but common name...

    To hide the update however, I just need to set the version to extremely high number and today was a long day at work and after that I had an awful headache and nausea, I didn't sit in front of the laptop to release an update, maybe I will do it now, feeling Slightly better...

      The watch original SHM can't communicate with the phone MOD, and it's not possible to completly remove the original SHM from the watch4, so I had to create WearOS MOD and rename the previous MOD to Tizen MOD...
    2. Do I need root...?
      No root is required...
    3. Does this void my warranty?
      No it does not void the warrenty or trip the know or damage the watch or the phone...
    4. OTA effect on MOD & MOD effects on OTA.
      No Effects, the MOD is independant...
    5. Do I need to install both phone and watch MODs?
      Yes, you need both, keep in mind, the apk with word phone is for phone and the watch4 is for the watch...
    6. Where is the IP Address?
      You can find it inside the developer options after you enable the ADB Wi-Fi, it takes time though, alternativly, you can go to connections -> wifi -> the wifi you are connected to -> scroll down and you'll find your IP...
    7. Can I do this from my phone?
      Yes, you can use my Geminiman WearOS Manager...
    8. How do I update?
      Just install the updated files I release and it will update, whether you install the phone app or the watch app...
    9. Do I need Samsung Health MOD, is there even such thing...?
      I do not encourge using Samsung Health MOD, Samsung Health is a core application, modding it will break many services, using official Samsung Health is safer and better...
    10. What is BP Sync and is there an ECG Sync...?
      BP or blood pressure data can be saved in Samsung Health Cloud, allowing you to view all of your BP to be seen on Samsung Health app and no, there is no ECG sync and never was, ECG can only be exported as PDF and Excel file...

    ~~~ Pairing issues with Watch4/5/6 on Galaxy Wearables (Watch4/5/6 not supported!) ~~~​

    Initially it was Huawei devices with Watch4 but this solution works for other devices as well as other Samsung WearOS watches...​

    This fix is done by Reddit u/Relative_Comparison2 & u/MelodicMaintenance​


    You need Galaxy Wearables & Watch4/5/6 Plugin installed, now do the following steps:
    1. Download Samsung Health.
    2. start Samsung health then go to accessories and search for your watch (scan).
    3. Samsung Health will call Galaxy Wearables to set up the connection and a normal setup is performed.

    Now here is an update of mine if the above does not work and Galaxy Wearables keeps disconnecting from the watch4/5/6
    It was Explained that you need to have the following apps installed:

    Galaxy Wearable & Watch 4/5 plug-in​

    Give all permissions to Galaxy Wearables and the Watch4/5 plugin by going app info, scroll down, permission and grant all...​

    Now Clear the data of the following applications:​

    • Google Play Services
    • Google Play Framework
    • Google Play Store
    • HwWifiproBqeService (For Huawei devices only, skip if you are not Huawei)
    The phone will start acting up, that's normal, so restart your phone to allow system app to rebuild itself, when the phone starts, do not configure your google account yet, first try connecting to the Watch4/5/6 again through Samsung Health and it should work, after that you can do whatever you want for google...

    One last note, disable any battery optimization, some phones have aggressive optimization, they will kill background services, this will stop the watch4/5/6 from pairing, if you can't disable it, then whitelist galaxy wearble and the watch4/5/6 plugin!

    Still facing issues, it is probably the plugin and wearble version, follow these steps:
    If the above does not work, it may be related to bad plugin, so follow the steps in the picture first to Downgrade everything and pair through Samsung Health as above stated, login & update everything later after pairing is successful...

    Tested:
    Latest plugin + latest Samsung Health + Wearable 2.2.50.22072061

    Steps:
    Keep your internet on, Open Samsung health, then accessories, locate your watch, disconnect from internet (Data and Wi-Fi off, only Bluetooth on) and tap on your watch, galaxy wearable will start offline and pair with the watch, after the pair, you can connect to internet and update wearable and configure anything and everything else...

    • Patched and released SHM MOD version: 1.1.4.002, it may be the last working version for Androids with OS 7 and 8...
    • Patched and released SHM MOD version 1.2.1.009 for watch and phone, this works on android 9 and above...
    Finally, did some patches to fix bugs in SHM:
    • Samsung IHRN auto-measurements were using wrong display messages (showing afib detected instead of auto measurement) and triggers sound + vibration notification every 10 minutes, I have fixed this by putting approprite message and set the notification as silent...
    • Samsung called a method setWidgetTile when OS have removed it, this causes the app to crash, skipped the code...
    • Removed duplicate tiles of BP and ECG, this may take time to reflect in galaxy wearable...
    Update SHM MOD Companion first to get the latest SHM MOD Release...

    • Canada BP & ECG Support
    • Israel BP & ECG Support
    • Taiwan got BP Support now
    • Ukraine BP & ECG Support
    • Vietnam BP & ECG Support
    • Latin America BP & ECG Support
    • South Africa BP & ECG Support
    • BP Calibration Code changed
    • checkUpdateInterfaceWithLocation method, you will hate this very much, according to the logic of the code, BP & ECG is now enabled and locked based on location, so if you travel, brace yourself for "service not avaliable"
    • About section has isNoneApproveCountry which tells you whether country is approved or not, what's the point of this since the app doesn't run in none supported country you ask...? I have no clue...
    • CSC check sim card on Latin American and Caribbean (SELA)

    Due to the major changes, here is my plan:
    • Release the MOD without Darkmode in beta test...
    • If all goes well, it goes public and I start working on Darkmode and it goes into beta test...
    • If all goes well too, it goes live...
