Is there any way to return to a stock ROM without wiping your emulated SD card? Im on the the AOSP based 4.3 or PA and would like to return to the stock OTA jwr rom.
I find backup over MTP takes up to an hour for the 5GB i have on my phone so is there a way to retain my SD data or to transfer at a more efficient rate?

Thanks.

Follow efrants guide but don't flash the userdata.img file and you'll be fine

Remove the "-w" flag and delete userdata.img from the image zip.
Was thinking of going that route just wasnt sure if the two versions of 4.3 would play nice with each other that way.

I think you should manually back it up on your pc/laptop. And my question is why do you want to return to stock?
I find it runs a bit warm on PA and i have the occasional softboot and just a few minor glitches. I might not actually switch but in case i ever need to i'd like to know how people keep their data. I find this the largest drawkback of no separate sd card.
