Returning the Note 7 : Questions

So assuming I break down and decide to return this (take the $100 credit and maybe the option later for a special trade in or upgrade to a S8 or Note 8 -if made available to US customers) AND I do this on line thru Verizon to save the trip and lines at teh actual store, they will send me a box to ship the old phone back correct?

When I order the S7 and order the special box for return, they will send both at the same time or will I be down without a phone until my Note 7 is returned?

The plan on getting both and activate the S7, transfer all my crap over and then return. Is this how that works? Has anyone done this?

Where does the Note 7 (boxed in the special box) actually go to? Samsung or back to Verizon?

Just order a phone on the Note 7 line and a box will automatically be sent to you. More than likely you'll get your new device before the box. But even if you do get the box first, you don't have to immediately send the N7 back. Wait and send theN7 in after you've transferred your stuff.
Verizon told me over the phone today that they had no more boxes to send out and said I should return the N7 to a Verizon store, which I did this morning.

I guess they didn't have a box for me since I wasn't buying another device and choose to stick my SIM card back into an old device I had already.

The box will come a week or two after you get your replacement phone. You have more than enough time to transfer everything over to new phone. The phone is shipped back to a returns processing center: mine went to Texas.
