You building the new final 33.3? Or not enough changes in it?

I have built it last night but haven't uploaded yet. I wil, later when I sit down on pc For these changes ask Google I don't have any changelog. Patches and all these from inotia00 it's still the same.

This is a Greek tech website which found on their 2 Huawei devices malware from the built apk of Extended from ReVanced io.
VirusTotal also flagged it as Malware.

False positive or not, I don't know but I just let you know about it. My built apk doesn't have this.

For what it's worth, Virus Total didn't detect any malware in the Magisk mod's .zip, nor in the the base.apk or the com.google.android.youtube.apk contained in the mod, but the version in the mod is 17.49.37, not 18.03.32.

Yes because they don't built these, they redirect to j-hc github.

Extended is their built or idk from where they (or he) get it.

Yes, I know. I was just passing along information about the mod and Virus Total results since they have a download link for the mod on their website.

Hi Retrial. I started getting ads in the feed. Could this be because we're not using the recommended version of YT in the revanced manager? (I don't have the manager so not sure what the current recommended version is)

I don't see any ads in the feed Can you try to reinstall it and if it continues can u go back to the recommended version which u can find in my AFH?

Hi guys have a question so installed your apk but for some reason when I log in to microg the movies just buffer .but if I use a new account i made it works good same with exstended ver and vanced .is there a work around. The account works great in normal yt .so its not fully locked out .just dont feel like figurin out how to move or copie all the subs.

Hi dude, thanks for great work. I cannot moved on from old vanced until i found this apps with custom package name. So basically it can hide from google play store detection.

Can i ask when you start to build app to provide update installation app like Vanced Manager do? So i dont check this thread frequently to looking for newer update?

Hi, this is a known issue with ReVanced which affect some users mostly from UK.
Some guys use this workaround.

Hi, currently there is no support for automatic updates, you should check this thread if you use my apks and install them manually. (no clean install needed)

So about 4 days after fixing the playback issue, it is back again. I uninstalled and re-installed MicroG but nothing. It is likely not an issue with MicroG. Google is blacklisting accounts.

Don't load APK's from revanced.io, nobody knows what's in there.
You can patch APK by yourself or download the pre-patched ones from @Retrial (see OP).
Also magisk modules only directly from
https://github.com/j-hc/revanced-magisk-module and not from revanced.io.

Follow what @Wolfcity said.
Already aware of revanced io, I announced the malware few days ago. I personally don't trust io and "Mr. Srivishnu Ramakrishnan" which seems to be the owner of that site, from the very begging. It may be false positive tho.

Edit:
Seems to be false positive as now VirusTotal have one vendor and also flags my ReVanced Extended which didn't happened before and the day I uploaded to VirusTotal was 0 detections. If you see the submission history mine was uploaded at 21-01-2023. Someone seems to upload the same file (someone touched it I guess) afterwards and then it also flags mine. Pretty weird that it happens only with ReVanced Extended and not Official ReVanced. [Revanced io built revanced extedned only (so I do the correlation), for the rest files like Official ReVanced and Magisk Module they have link to j-hc]

Jotti show it completely clean and the same Avast vendor doesn't detect anything. So I assume it's false positive.

I reuploaded my apk (the same file) with different name and it shows 0 flags. Check here. (I also attached a screenshot to be here just for proof)
Honestly Idk what's going on, all I know is I uploaded my apk at 21 of the month was clean and someone reuploaded again afterwards and then flags it, I guess someone is trying to trick VT with the submissions happened after mine, so to also flags mine. idk
I reuploaded my ready apks with different name. VT and Jotti links also updated.

@adhilroshan regarding your question on this post , I already mention that in my OP and in Download post at Installation Guide. You can set revanced as the default app ito open links:

To set the app as default: Go to ReVanced App info > Set as default > Open supported links, "On" > Supported web addresses > Turn them all "On". [If you are using MIUI and you have trouble to do it, check this and for general this]
