Hi.
I need to install newest microg and revanced youtube official version on my friends Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, Miui 13.0.3 global, Android 12.
She had old Vanced microg and latest Vanced youtube, a year old, now i like to uninstall all that and install new microg and latest revanced youtube. I had poco F1 but with lineageos, also MI6 but it was few years ago and i dont remember all things, but i remember that miui have some issue with microg and / or miui optimisation must be turn off or on..
Can you explain me in few words how to install latest revanced ytb and microg on that phone?

I have first googled for revanced xtended and then looked for the error on the XDA forum...

Oh...then yeah I don't recommend to use that site.

The steps to build and install is at OP.
If you want to get my ready apks and just install, you can find them at post #2 under the OP.

The only issue I am aware with MIUI and ReVanced atm is about how to make ReVanced as default youtube app. Check this workaround.
I don't think it's needed to turn off miui optimization like Vanced.

Maybe this work just for micro .apk,,,but its simple just turn off miui optimization and then turn on?
...I don't know because I don't have a miui..I'm just browsing youtube..

I don't know it no, there are a lot of these sites I guess.

You should build the apk yourself or download it from trusted sources. I believe I can be considered trusted, lol

There is only one patch "Swipe Controls". No patch for remember or not. inotia00 made it by default to remember last value.

Looks like inotias latest patch answered my prayers lol. Yay. He also notes a clean install is recommended.

I builded myself revanced youtube, Tiktok and Twitter thru Manager apk. All working ok, but i prefere youtube apk built by @Retrial

Changelog:

• Included the changes at posts #498 + #491.
• Updated all recommended youtube links at OP for both Official & Extended Revanced.
• Updated all my ready apks to latest versions/patches. (changes can be found at post #2 inside Changelogs section)
• Updated latest ReVanced Music.zip which contain Official ReVanced & ReVanced Extedend Music for ARM and ARM64 devices.
• Android File Host mirror links also updated.
• All VirusTotal / Jotti links updated. Attached Screenshots of the Results to be sure.
• Added ReVanced eXtended Magisk Module link as an unofficial FORK of j-hc/ReVanced Magisk Module, at OP inside the section of Magisk Module. I am not sure how safe it is tho, so use it by your own risk.
• Added also ReVanced Builds MMT inside Magisk Module section which also provide most recent updated Extended as Module (and apks). I am not sure how safe it is tho, so use it by your own risk.
• Converted the bullet list to number list at "Build & Installation Guides" section, so the steps to be more structured.
• Moved down the "Useful Links" section and also removed "Third Party APKs" sub-section which included inside useful links.

Notes:

• Latest ReVanced Extended includes VP9 codec. {FAQ about VP9}

I would like to know, is it too difficult to build magisk module from your "revanced extended" configurations/patches?
I am asking because, like you just said in the past, j-hc who provides magisk module is not building it with revanced extended patches (too bad), so no VP9 for me or for anyone else who needs it

I seem to be wrong, I just found an unofficial magisk developer which is regularly updating all the .zip modules including YT Music and also normal apk's for non-root (built on revanced extended patches with support for VP9) :

I am thinking to exclude again the "Translations" patch, in the next update of my ready apk ReVanced Extended, since I feel the patch options are better understandable in English. Also updates add things and some of them are not translated so it makes it miss match.

I cannot get youtube revanced to play video when i am sign in to my google account. It only work flawlessly when not sign in. Any method to fix this?

can somebody tell me why is that after magisk module installation (apks behave the same way), on the first start of YT, if I click on the "library" button at the right bottom of the screen it shows everything including my channel and playlist where i use to save my favorite videos + history menu...but imediatelly after a YT restart (not a phone restart), even if I don't configure anything yet in the settings, if I go again in the "Library" menu I cannot see my channel anymore, neither the details that use to be there on the first start, only "history" remains there....if i delete chache and data it comes back, but after another restart of the application it is gone again
