Your work is very helpful!! Can you please help me out as i am having 2 phones, 1st one is running android 12 and the revanced is working successfully but my 2nd phone runs android 6(Oppo A57) and i don't want to root it because it is mostly used by my kids and it is currently running vanced 18.03.xx and the last supported version of youtube is 17.34.35, i tried installing various builds from build apps repo but one's the app is installed i open it and it suddenly crashes tried various builds but all odf them failed!! How can i solve this???

I've found out that for the most options in "CustoMIUIzer" it is not necessary to soft reboot, but to restart System UI. That way you can avoid the problem mentioned above!
So the simple solution is to run the following shell command as SU:
"killall com.android.systemui"
For the few options in "CustoMIUIzer" requiring a reboot, you must not do it via soft reboot, but perform a normal reboot to avoid any trouble with the "ReVanced" magisk module.

I would like to change default ReVanced app icon to official YouTube icon. Could you implement such an option, please? Or is there another way to do it (Tasker?) which will persist even when the magisk module is updated in the future?

Indeed the icon of revanced it's ugly and that's why I exclude it on my ready apks but this module is not in my hands. @scrubjay55 provides that module and to do that, needs to remove the branding patch which I don't think he will do it.
Otherwise you can use launchers which support to change icons of apps.

- You trying to build and install or use my ready apks?
- Which one you try to install Extended or Official?
- What error you get?
- Do you have installed other older versions of revanced? If so uninstall them first.
- Do you use android 8+?

Hi, from 09-01-2023 you should be able to update without clean install. Check the old changelog.

1. I tried to install your apks from download link and the attached on the post, every apks says "app not installed";
2. both;
3. the install bar seems to arrive at the end but the next message says "app not installed";
I have installed already microG, an older version, when I trie to install the newer it says if I want update;
4. no I have Vanced installed;
5. I use android 10.
Go to Settings > Apps > Search and Uninstall vanced microG and everything related to Vanced and ReVanced > Install the microg and revanced from my post and it should be fine.
Probably there is a conflict with an app you already have installed that's why it doesn't get installed.
Yes, there was a conflict with one of the uninstalled app (vanced, vanced manager or vanced microg).
Now it works!

I always build the apk with rvx-builder by inotia00 on Windows 10 and Windows Security alerted me as soon as a new integration apk was downloaded through rvx-builder. So I tried to download it from inotia00's github directly, still get alerted from Windows Security. Not sure why. :[ -

I am really tired with all these updates in just short time. I am thinking to stop uploading all the updates and just upload 1 every month. Also i will stop uploading virustotal and jotti, the apks I make are clean, everyone who wants can upload and check himself. -
