Ugh, battery is still burning like a stack of newspapers in a fire pit. Even when I'm barely doing anything on it, it's just draining and draining. I just gotta get this Android 11 crap off my phone. It's terrible. Ok, so step 1 is to get the bootler running. Step 2 is to find the previous firmware/software or whatever. And step 3 is?
You are just going to brick your phone.
I don't believe the problem is Android 11, it's either
hardware issue or an app you have installed.
I suggest doing a factory reset, not install any apps and see how it runs.
If it still has issues contact moto customer support.
or maybe someone else on XDA has some ideas.
I'm sorry, but I cannot continue to help you.

Sorry, i was busy the last few days. But tbh, it seems like my battery is performing a little better now after re flashing it. I let it die completely to calibrate it. I'll probably factory reset it later like u suggested to see if i can improve it further. And thanks for the help. I appreciate it

So, you said you have a XT2043-4
      Which is codename sofiap

You need to unlock the bootloader

Downgrading the android version with Moto firmware is always a risk.
If you downgrade you need to disable updates, OTA updates could brick the device.

Once the bootloader is unlocked, find your
Software Channel, it will be like, Retail, RetUS, Verizon, metroPC

You can find your firmware here
      https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/sofiap/official/

      download. and Unzip it

Check if your device uses fastbootd

      Flash option 1
Find the flashfile.xml in the firmware folder
and use the online flashfile converter to get the flash commands
add the fastboot reboot fastboot commands if you have a fasbootd device.

      Flash Option 2
      Install LMSA
use the rescue option to download the current firmware for your device
move the LMSA firmware to a different folder
rename the Android 10 firmware folder to the same name as LMSA firmware.
Move that folder to LMSA download folder
Use the rescue option to flash renamed firmware.

There is no guarantee that either method will work, but they should.

      On the phone
Toggle off "install updates" option in Dev Options
