About me: I am writing this section because I want to justify my review. I have been following phones and accessories since 2002. I have tried anything and everything. I have put screen protectors or similar products on almost all my electronics (iPod, Macbook Pro, Nintendo DS, etc) since 2002. I have tried Zagg, Best Skins Ever (BSE), Verizon brand screen protectors, SGP, etc.
A.R.M. vs ALL: I always bought SGP screen protectors because of the clarity and glass-like feel of the screen protector. I swore by it, but I was disappointed at the coverage. And there was no way in hell I was going to get a wet screen protector again. The one thing I learned is that never ever ever ever ever buy a wet screen protector, I don't care what you say about XO having ALMOST ALMOST ALMOST no orange peel. ALMOST isn't going to cut it for me. I decided to get the A.R.M. because it was dry, great screen coverage, and the Nexus glass is pretty strong.
A.R.M. Customer Service: A.R.M. had great customer service, I requested a sample through my connection on Thursday, received it on Monday. It took less than 3 business days to arrive from Hong Kong. INSANE, not only was it free (for me) but it arrived safely and quickly. This is the reason why I am writing this review. No I do not work for A.R.M. I don't know how you can buy it, I'm just writing this review because I like their product and company.
The Review: Packaging is simple, just a gold envelope you tear with your finger. The screen protector has 2 cutouts, 1 for the front facing camera and the other for the speaker and sensors. It is covered both sides to keep it protected. The install is simple as usual. I installed in the restroom with steam from the shower. The screen protector is noticeably thinner than most which is why it has such great coverage while not lifting up on the sides. It uses static to stick on the phone, no sticky residue. There was somewhat of a drag at first, so I thoroughly wiped it down with a microfiber and it felt a lot better. Obviously there is nothing like glass, but this feels similar to the SGP dry screen protectors. It attracts some oil (not much), but it comes off easily. In some angles you can see some rainbowing, but not noticeable in normal situations.
