[REVIEW] Pitaka Aramid Fiber case for the Note 8

I have had my case on for a while now and I have dropped my phone a couple of times with this case on it and it has protected my phone. Now is it the best drop protection no but it does give you a little bit.

I can piggy back on this. Had a corner drop with my Note 8 and the Pitaka case actually did its job. I love this thing.

I ordered it and it arrived today, it's perfect, very pleasant and elegant, very light with a touch of siffice, I'm very happy.
But I found a big flaw, hands always very clean otherwise leaves very visible and ugly streaks, this is a serious flaw for me, during the day when you work your hands get dirty and touch the phone is tantamount to stain it.

Ok, but once you turn on the display the fingerprints are not seen anymore, on the back you always see and I do not know how to solve.

The case isn't designed to protect your phone if dropped. Only the top and bottom edges have some protection.

It's a slim case which adds some grip to the back and makes it easier to hold and protects the glass back from scratches. Plus the added benefit of being compatible with the magnetic car holder.

Hi, actually the case does provide a basic protection. According to our experiences, it protects your phone from most of the daily drops. Nevertheless, there's some common sense that should be noticed:

1. Besides the heights, the drop damages are mostly depending on the angles when dropping.
2. The various ground or floor is also a key factor in the dropping. Dropping your phone onto a sandy ground would probably be worse than drop onto a wood floor.
3. The grip of the phone body. A grippy phone case reduces chances of drops.

With that being said, a bulky case may give more protections. But the drops really depends. What we have been using PITAKA cases for more than three years in the city life, and they really protect in most of our daily life.

Thank you but I do not know how the technicians can help me, the problem is precisely the material that reflects a lot of stains caused by the touch of the hands, not to stain it you must always have your hands washed with soap and this can not be done every five minutes.

In my experience the case isn't too bad at showing stains. Only time it needs a quick wipe is when my kids have been playing games. It needs cleaning less than the Spigen and Ringke cases I own.

I tell you things that can not be understood from the photos, stains that I find very unpleasant on a frame so refined, impossible to understand how it protects from falls and if the producer says that falling on the wood and sand are different is enough to understand that in this sense they are not the best, how could I understand this from a photo? now reason, I spend 50 dollars to get a scratch protection and that's it? no thanks.

The case itself doesn't have a magnet that for no problems with Spen, I use the Spen all the time. QI charger is fast if you have a car charger that is fast charging, if it is a regular charger is going to be normal charge speed. Normally when I put my phone to charge with the magnetic holder and fast charger takes 45 minutes to go from 20% to 85%. I have no problem with heating during the charging time. I have the Dome Glass and have no problems with this case. I dropped my phone twice on concrete with this case, and no damage has been done to the phone. So far I'm very satisfied with this case and magnetic charger.
