The cutout on the back has been fixed. They sent me a correct replacement fast. I think they have so many orders right now. You will have to check the website. But to me it's worth the wait. If you really read the posts it's only like 2 or 3 people that have had problems.

There were several reports regarding the cutout problem besides yours by @irieeyed and @Li-Pol. You are the only one reporting back saying that it's fixed.
As for the unfulfilled orders, we are 5 writing about it here : @KruseLudsMobile, @iraqgsm, @jcg74, @jk1947ind and myself.
Pitaka's facebook page is full of people complaining even though they are systematically erasing bad reviews.
Once again, I am happy for you and the others who got theirs in time but you should not minimize the problem because it really exists and there is no need to involve others in this mess before and if it gets fixed.

You said it yourself 5 people are having problems out of the what hundreds they have sold? That's why I said to check on the website. Unlike you I was very happy with their customer service and shipping.

I highly doubt that on this forum there are hundreds of happy customers.
Trust me when I say this , I am daily monitoring Pitaka's site and their facebook page. A lot of people are complaining, saying the things listed on this thread.
They are filtering the bad reviews and erasing people posts on facebook, it happened to me twice and I also saw comments disappearing.
My legitimate question about the shipping of my order never got published on Pitaka's site.
I have no hidden agenda and no other interest than getting what I have paid for 3 weeks ago.
Once again don't try to minimize the problem, this is not an isolated incident, it's a complete mess.

Look you can say bad stuff about the company because you had a bad experience with them. But there are also people that have not had a bad experience. Just like I don't knock you for saying your story don't knock others for telling people that they had a good experience. Pretty sure a lot more people have had a good experience than bad.. That's why they are selling so good and in demand. Sorry you had a bad experience hope they fix your issue and you get your case.

For the potentially new customers: if you don't have a problem waiting 3-4 weeks for your order to ship and no other use of your money, go ahead, I'm sure you won't regret it. Get your expectations right, I wasn't ready !:)

I was not told the wait time would be several weeks. That is not good customer service!

They deleted a lot of facebook posts, James their CEO here promised it will ship next day like 10 days ago and no response since then. THEY LIE


the tracking they gave on the NOV 29th is not trackable, contacted Dhl and they say this: Our records indicate that the shipping label has been created; however, your shipment has not been physically handed over to DHL. I recommend contacting your sender to confirm the shipment's exit date. You received the Waybill number because it can be generated electronically

see i can be patient if you set the right expectations.

I had the same thing happen to me with D brand skins. Back in the Nexus 6 days it took them 4 weeks to get my skin and they where rude as crap to me. I complained on XDA about it and I got flooded with people telling me to get over it their great just wait blah blah blah. I have never ordered anything from them again and that was a damn sticker they couldn't even get it right and D brand is a bigger company than Pitaka. All companies have problems like this sometimes. If your not happy ask for your money back. Oh yeah D brand would not give me my money back either.

I'm sorry but this is not the way things work.
I can understand that they are having logistic problems and being overwhelmed by an unexpected high number of new orders.
However, constantly lying to their customers and hiding things out is unacceptable. All I've asked was a firm shipping date. I got lied several times.
Getting my money back after 3 weeks without getting what I have paid for it's not an option, they have to deliver.
Until then...

How sad that they had a popular product and treat their customers so badly. I asked for a shipping date and they sent me information about the shipping date for a different case.

I have also had a bad experience with this case - and PIKATA has not responded.

My case is impossible to get on the cellphone without damaging it.

There is no cutout for the SD SLOT - I do backups and access the slot very frequently - this is a deal breaker for me.

I have emailed them - NO RESPONSE for either a replacement or RMA for REFUND.

I have a dispute with paypal for REFUND.

At this point, I just did vinyl protection from stickerboy and I'm done with this cases and PITAKA.

Just my experience. Other may have similar. Just adding feedback.

I have never had a case for this phone that has had a cutout for the SD slot.

Show me any case with cut out slot for the sd card. I understand people commenting and complaining about real problems, but what you are saying is plain excuse to return something that you didn't like. It's unreasonable asking for something that is not standard in other cases especially if is not advertising in their own website. I don't know how some people are giving you thanks for such a comment.

I gave him thanks because he is reiterating the fact that Pitaka's customer service is not what it should be. They are just ignoring people.
As for the SD cutout, I agree with you and Jason.

Unfortunately looking at the recent posts in here I am in the majority. Placed the order 13 days ago, it hasn't been picked up by DHL. I haven't gotten responses from 2 inquiries and when I tried to email the CEO who sent me the initial welcome to the Pitaka family email, it bounced because his inbox was full. Looking at the last few reviews on their site it appears the demand has driven their quality down as well... Just canceled my order.

Hallelujah ! 25 days after my credit was charged, 7 days after the shipping label was created, several tickets/ erased facebook messages, my package got finally picked up by DHL. It feels like Christmas !
Now, the wait begins !;)

I received my case last week. Cutouts are all perfect. I also got the CD slot mount which works perfectly. It clamps in easily and is very sturdy. My last mount was the extremely highly rated iOttie CD mount. It was loose and would fall out after a few uses. This is much better as well as cheaper. Overall I love this case and car mount. I understand delays are never wanted, but the delivered product is worth a little wait.
