[REVIEW] Pitaka Aramid Fiber case for the Note 8

Received case 2 days ago i.e. 7 weeks after the order was placed. Had to send a dozen of emails to the support team.
completely disappointed with their support and the delay. Paid premium price for this item. Not happy with them.

here is my review on the case and fast wireless car charger.

is it worth waiting this long and money spent - NO.

samsung slip-on case looks much better than this case. but, more slippery compared to this item.

What is bad about this case - 1) it does not cover side metal edges completely. I have 2 other slip-on cases which cover metal ridge completely.
2) s-pen cut out is not uniform. no problem with pulling out s-pen. 3) edges does not look like smooth (roughly cut)

what is good about this case - built in magnetic case that does not interfere with wireless charging.

car charger - it is strong and keeps phone intact. I do not get fast wireless charging all the times. it's on and off.

I would stay away from this company due to quality issues, poor customer service and handling of orders. that too with paying premium price for it.

I received one of the wireless chargers and have had great luck with it so far. It fast charges with my QC2.0 and QC3.0 chargers and every microUSB cable I've thrown at it. I have two more on the way, and I'm hoping they work as well as the first one.

My wife and I both have wireless fast chargers on our nightstands, one in the living room, and I have one at the office. Now we will have one in her vehicle, my truck, and my work vehicle. My charging will be 99% wireless now.

Completely agree absolutely love the case and car charger.

Ordered mine today with the cd slot magmount. I've never used a cd mount before, but i hope it works better than the vent and suction mounts i've used before (not from this company).

The vent mount from pitaka is very solid, and works 100% of the times at least for me.
If you want fast charging capabilities be sure to got a car charger that is fast charging capable.

Believed or not yes, some people want fast charging on their car (this is what we are talking about here) but they don't have a car charger fast charging capable.
Also I noticed with my Samsung wireless fast charging (not car charger but the regular one) that if I'm not place my phone a little bit to the left my phone doesn't charge at all, and this is using any case not just the Pitaka case.

Oh okay. I guess to you and I those are just basic commonsense stuff. I thought you meant there were some serious tricks to it that I've been missing. I definitely agree with you though. I've had to help a few colleagues with their choices in car chargers because they thought because it said 2.1, that meant it would fast charge.

Got mine! It only took about a week, not bad at all. However, the Skinomi screen protector isn't big enough anymore. I ordered the full sized one and when i get that i'll be golden. I love it! It really makes the Note 8 extra beautiful!

I am very disappointed by the way they are handling this.
It is, by far, my worst online buying experience.
Order passed on 10 november, not yet shipped, even though Pitaka staff, including the CEO, @james-pitaka, told me, twice, that it will be shipping in the next 24 hours.
It never did.
Now they are no longer replying mails and it seems that there are quality control issues...

I do not trust this company. I have ordered my case on Nov 4th. received an email today asking me if I'm interested to switch to different color. If not, there would be a delay for my original order. In either case, they need my order number.

I just registered today to post my experience. Stay away from this company.
