Well...im a user like you and really desperate looking for working 7.1.2 gapps for my rom builds....and i dont really onto the workarounds thing unless if i've force to. AND I'd ask my good buddy Bradley aka @bdwilk to test the gapps on the rom i built (AOSiP 5.7 and AEX 7.1.2) and few other roms out there and the result was flying colours. Once satisfy with the tests and instead of keeping on my sleeve i thought i'd better sharing and put on my AFH public folder and hoping someone will find this gapps useful for them.... end of the rants

Btw...i really glad to know the gapps working on you side too....:good:

Ps- Juz a heads up...i pushed another update for AOSPExtended-4.1 (7.1.2) to my AFH folder....and sorry @Setting.Out a bit rants here and have a nice Easter Sunday everyone

Adding the google app is easy, though I may randomly update the normal too, but no promises..

I am since I am have issues with long press home button to launch google assistant not working with micro gapps

Do you make sure to manually go to apps, settings, assist and voice input, and set it to Google (even if it already is Google)? That should make it work with micro after you install the Google app from the playstore

I don't understand, why size of downloading packages only ~7 MB and filename Face-Unlock_add-on_7.1.zip ?
