Hello everyone,
My dad has a Lg Leon H340F, which I tried to update without success to Android Marshmallow I followed the post "How to update LG Leon H340N to Android M and Unlock the Bootloader"
The first time I flash it, the tool showed that it was completed successfully but the phone didn't turn on, it was in a bootlop,
I thought I had done something wrong, so I tried again,
the second time the phone showed "COM5" while was flashing, the tool again showed the process was successfully completed but the phone was still in a bootloop, it no longer allowed me to enter the download mode,
When I connected it to the computer by pressing the volume down button, the charging icon appeared, the LG Flash Tool program no longer recognized it.
When I turned it on normally and while it was in the bootloop I connected it to the computer, it emitted the sound that something had been connectedt, but the LG Flash Tool did not recognize it either.
I thought all was lost,
I decided to try it with the official tool LG Mobile Support Tool, It did not recognize it either,
Then I realized that there was an option called "recovery error update" in which I was asked for the IMEI number, I entered it, and later it began to download the firmware, and was successfully installed on the smartphone.
Now he's alive, with lollipop, but alive.
I do not know if it will work in other cases, but give it a chance.
