Thank you very much for the photo.
Yes it's better than Orzly and some other wich have black border. Good result maybe i will try a Omoton Tempered glass on my oneplus 6
:good:
It's not expensive too, price is fair. The one without black borders produces halo left an right. 0.1 to 0.2 mm more width would have been a good idea. The black bordered one is the best of this category i've used so far.

I agree with @The Marionette. Based on my years of experience buying multiple electronic gadgets including screen protectors from Ali Express, I can confidently say that at least 85% of the products I purchased from Ali Express (including tgsp) were of equal quality of their expensive counterparts. Only issue is that it takes few weeks to get the product. Ali Express do have a great customer satisfaction program i.e. if you receive the product not as described, they would often issue you refund right away. I am a firm believer to support Made in USA products but unfortunately, the US sellers are purchasing, repackaging, and selling products made in the same factories where Ali Express sellers source from.
I've ordered a fair amount of stuff from Ali Express and the quality is usually equivalent to name brand stuff. In many cases, it is the name brand stuff without the branding because the factory is either making one product that 100+ re-sellers are slapping their brand stickers on, or the factory is making a design to order and then selling the excess out the back door.

The one caveat is that there can be a difference in quality control between the branded and unbranded products, if the reseller is insisting on it (not all do). In such cases, sometimes the factory then sells the unbranded rejects on Ali Express. They're often not supposed to do this under some agreement with the seller, but "If you can get away with it, it's okay" is very much a thing when doing business in China (ask me how I know).

Hey guys, thanks for your advice for the pictures. I got an answer from Rhino. Home-made translation from french is :

Don't know what to do but i don't want a screen protection that is not all over the screen... Talking about both tempered glass and impact protection. If you look at the picture, the impact protection is no better choice, transparent or not. (Check last picture from their website)

Anyway it makes me even more disappointed because I want a tempered glass, and at 25€ I was expecting something really good.
I think I'm gonna ask for a refund anyway because I think I'm in right to ask for it despite what they are saying, since there is no written fact about the overlap.
Definitely ask for a refund. I aksed and they offered me one after specifying that it's not their policy to provide refunds once the screen protector has been used.

I just got my Rhinoshield case for Oneplus 6 in matte black and it is the best one I have tried, and I tried quiet a lot !!

It's very think,
nicely matte black,
no extra retarded style elements anywhere,
no glossy trash anywhere,
no retarded design from mentally ill designers,
on the back big bump for the camera,
a big gap all around the screen even with glass screen protector it rises like 2-3mm on top of the screen,
buttons does NOT have retarded cutout through, finally,
buttons have nicely pushed inside the case and do not stick out,
case is NOT slippery and holds securely in the hand,
case holds very firmly the phone and it feels protected.

the best design, I have seen so far,
After this case, I would say all that I tried is trash garbage shi....t (extremely disappointed with xda censorship on the language, you liberals retards !!).

I hope they will do the same good job for next oneplus phone.

Retarded designers from Oneplus should take a look on this case !!

was looking at Rhino Shield yesterday for the OP6, and there was a seperate tab called "CrashGuard NX - Modular Bumper Case for OP6", it was clickable but no image and no webpage with information. It's not showing up today. Possibly new bumper case inc soon? (based on a video NX has many diff colours and parts that can be swapped to create a two tone look)

Can anyone comment on the back protector? Was it difficult to install?

Also anyone have a poetic tempered glass screen protector? Just curious if those fit with this case seeing how the rhinoshield tempered glass cuts into the screen. Thanks.

Got my black crashguard and the tempered glass (which I regretted ordering after a few days).
So the bumper case is relatively ok, BUT: it's not as grippy as it should be because it's pretty much made of hard plastic. I was surprised, tbh, as I was expecting it to have more rubber in its composition, so it's pretty slippery, a lot more slippery than the official karbon bumper case. The way the buttons are cut is a complete joke. Instead of having a bit of 'material holding the buttons at the top (vertically), they're being hold in place from the side (don't know if you're getting what I'm saying). So pressing them is a pain in the rear because they're not allowed to bend due to too much plastic that keeps them stuck to the case/in their place. They only lean on the side when pressed. I found a fix though and it involves taking the SIM tool and poking some holes in the plastic from between the buttons and the case, this way reducing its strength and allowing the buttons to be pressed a lot easier. They're actually clicky now. I'll leave a couple of pictures to show you what I did.
*you'll see the little holes I made in the plastic from between the power button and the case. They're seen only if you take off he case and shine some light through. The volume buttons have excess plastic left cause I first poked the holes then decided to actually make cuts but only from the top of each button and toward the middle part, leaving this middle piece of around 2mm intact. I'll remove the excess after I wake up cause I'm exhausted.

The tempered glass on the other hand... Yeah. The biggest waste of money. It's not just disappointing, simply disgusting. To sell such garbage for $20 is simply a scam. I can't believe them. The amount of screen it covers on all sides is unbelievable. I don't understand how they managed to overlook that.
And I'll give a simple example of how bad it is:
- if you're running Android P, just make sure you got a notification on your screen which you should check only from the lockscreen without interacting with it. So for that you gotta turn the screen off and then back on. On the lockscreen the notification has rounded corners and there's also a bit of space of approximately 1mm in between the edge of the notification and the edge of the screen, on both sides (/the notification doesn't touch the edge of the screen). With the tempered glass on, the notification is just square. You won't see that space from between the notification and the edge of the screen and even worse, you won't see any curve on any side of the notification, so just imagine how much screen the black border of the screen protector it actually covers. It's absolutely insane.
I'll leave down below the pictures I sent them when I asked for a refund cause I'd rather burn those $20 or give it to the old beggar lady at the supermarket instead of having them "donated" to Rhinoshield. In these pictures I placed the tempered glass in such a position to specifically show how it 'cuts into the screen.

Anyway, just don't buy their tempered glass. It's a complete waste of money. And from what I understand, the 'impact protector is also not perfectly cut for the screen. Don't waste your time and money.

I hope this will give those interested in ordering these things a bit more insight to help them decide easier what to do.

Got my black crashguard [...] them decide easier.
Don't get why they insist on that black border. The excuse they used to use is that they needed to hide the glue. But now a lot of those screen protectors are full adhesive so... why ? Is it that they think it's pretty ? or is there a real technical reason, I don't see.
Also +1 for the bumper, the idea is good but their buttons are trully terrible, and I think often times people will say "they are a little hard, but it's OK"
It's really not OK, really unpleasant to try to press buttons (had that on OP5, but from what I read, OP6's version has the same issue indeed)

you should contact support and ask for a refund. it took about a week and a lot of back and forth. theyll tell you something about they designed it that way for the adhesive and that theyre not supposed to give refunds as its against policy but just keep plugging away. theyll issue a refund via paypal. oh and if you pre-ordered it then theyll try to say youre outside of the return policy. just keep on em. theyll give you your money back! i got my money back like 3 days ago.

I assume they just wanted their glass to look like the official one. And they terribly failed when it comes to the right measurements.
As for the buttons, the way they're held in place is rubbish. It shows the poor skills of those responsible for designing them but I'm not surprised considering the way they designed the tempered glass. OnePlus nailed the way they're held in place. They made it so the buttons are allowed to bend and that way you can press them relatively easily and they're clicky too.

Planning to buy a RhinoShield carbon-fibre solid case and impact protection tempered glass. Is it worth for paying extra money ??? because I'm living in india (shipping,tax..ex)
It's your choice. The only unique thing from Rhinoshield are their bumper cases. That's the only thing I consider worth the hassle. You can find good rugged cases on Aliexpress at great prices.

It's short around the edges, meaning that approximately 1mm of the display is uncovered on both sides because the screen protector is too narrow, it does not cover the entirety of the flat surface available of the screen. Yes, the flat surface (excluding the curved edges) is bigger than what the screen protector actually covers but they're too blind to have noticed that. It's very noticeable and when you go complaining to Rhinoshield about their poorly cut product, they'll just respond with BS that means no money back. AND their tempered glass is s#!t as well. The black borders cover A LOT of screen on all sides. So I suggest you don't buy any of their screen protectors cause the price DOES NOT justify the quality in this case. $20 for something you'll throw away seconds after putting on, is just money wasted.

I've got a Nillkin Amazing H on my screen right now and it's great. I put it on 2 days ago. I only payed $7 for it. AND it doesn't have black borders. It goes to the limit of the flat surface of the screen which is better than the majority of the options available. And the edges are also curved. Couldn't have asked for something better. So I suggest you search for that if you want something good and also cheap.

Anyone know any tips how to get the phone out of these Rhino case easier? I feel like im about to break my phone when I try to get it out lol

I have this version
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07GFG2SXQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There are instructions that come with the case. Or in other words, RTFM.

In case you're too lazy to read the instructions, put your phone face down, start with the lower right side corner, then the upper one and then the whole case should come off easily.

Anyone here own both the solidsuit and the official nylon bumper case? Are they approximately the same size in terms of the bulk they add to the phone? I'm contemplating whether to go for a solidsuit + front impact protector or the nylon bumper case + front and back impact protectors for looks. But if solidsuit isn;t that much thicker then I'll just go for it

EDIT: I was reading about how some users posted about some issues with the buttons on the solidsuit not being responsive enough because of the plastic. Does that get better overtime as the plastic wears in?

I'd say that the solidsuit is a smidge bigger than the official nylon case. Not much but it's noticeable. I didn't have any problems with the buttons, they were a tad stiff when I got the case but they've loosened up over time, I have no problems pressing the buttons.

I think you cannot compare the two cases.
Because the rhinoshield is on another level of protection compared to the official OnePlus cases.
I sold my carbon bumper from OnePlus because it feels for me that it does not protect enough.
The camera bump is almost level with the case and the lid around the edge is not raised enough.
When u use a protector from glass combined with the carbon from OnePlus it has a lid of less than 1 mm.

Ohh haha yes the rhinoshield is bulkyer.

I bought the rhinoshield impact + solidsuit shortly after reading olliakselin's reply, but thanks for the feedback guys! There's some offer going on with 20% off a screen protector when you buy it with a case and another 20% off if you use the code EXCESSORIZEME at checkout.
