Im looking for a bt keyboard... butbmy microsoft bluetooth mouse 5000 doesntbwork with webtop. Perhaps wrong pairing code as it never says what it is.

Sent from my Motorola Atrix 4G on the network with the most backhaul, whatever that is. This post might have errors I hate touchscreen keyboards.

Hi I have the Game & Work pack for my Atrix and I'm gutted that neither the mouse or keyboard work in 3d shooters (part of the reason for buying).

Do any of these keyboards work taking over the thumb stick on screen, so that you can move and shoot like a traditional laptop/desktop computer using these keyboards.

Thanks
Paul

No. The controls in the game are designed for thumbs only unless coded additionally. Android not pc.

Just wanted to know if the Rii would work with my Evo I have Cm7 Rc2 and 2.3 So it should work perfectly with the track pad since Cm7 and 2.3 have the pointer now and keyboard right with just the bluetooth. I am about to order it on Amazon. Thanks

So i purchased the RII Mini BLuetooth keyboard excited to have it work with the Webtop...and alas there is an issue with the drivers. I was super excited as it has both a keyboard and a wireless touch pad and thought it would be perfect but it just aint working.

Has anyone been able to get this working? Or considered trying it?

Edit...got it paired. not drivers needed. Unlike other devices where the pairing is coded on one end, the keyboard requires that once you've inputted the desired code on you Atrix, that you put the same code in on the keyboard and press the enter button. Voila. A great product - highly recommended especially for webtop users.
Whats up Matt thanks for your info on the typing in the code on the keyboard that worked perfect got today and It badass. I first was using blueinput before that which of course wasnt bad but would not connect with the bluetooth meaning you have to keep connecting every time you turn on the keyboard.

Now my next question is how to get he mouse pointer enabled. I have CM7 0.0 CR2 which suppeseldy has the pointer. After conecting and pairing I went to Cm setting and didnt not find the mouse setting so not sure what going on thanks.

Could someone post a link for the contents of the driver cd? I've looked everywhere for a download link with no success. My laptop only has a slot loading drive and the disc that comes with the Keyboard is Mini CD. Would be very grateful if someone could rip and rar the cd for me.

I am using the keyboard with my Samsung Galaxy S2 in combination with an MHL cable. So far it has been a little crappy with a high latency and sometimes it bails out completely and looses the connection. I haven't yet fully charged the battery so I'm blaming that.... also I don't have the android apk... I don't know if that'll make any difference but maybe..

MHL might be putting a strain on the system. For example when I am watching a 700mb avi file with Meridian.apk which is output to both the phones screen and my TV via mhl and I try fast forwarding a lot, then things go a little haywire.

Anyway, if anyone could rip the software I'd be mighty happy! :)

Trust me you dont neeed the apk. Just re pair it and after you put in the pairing code on the you need to put in the sane code in the keyboard and press enter. Dont understand why it even needs an apk.

You were right man. The apk is actually a pile of s**te. I'd say it's just for pre-2.2 or 2.1 android or something. certainly doesn't work on 2.3. It all seems to be working fine now without any apps.... although I think I need to cut down on the amount of wireless signals bouncing around in this room. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on the win7 drivers if anyone would care to rip n zip?
cheers

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S2 man... my Rom is a Villain Rom villainrom.co.uk
I don't think CM7 is quite ready enough for the SGS2. I think there are issues with both tv out and bluetooth so I think Villain Rom is the better option for now.

Do you find that sometimes when you go to type something that keys get caught and it comes out like thhhhhhhhhhhhhhisssssss? I reckon it's wireless interferance and it gets the on-press of the key but looses signal before it gets the off-press. I'm never more that 3 or 4 metres away from the phone so that's a little upsetting but maybe it's just interferance from other wireless devices.

Has anybody ever tried this keyboard (RT-MWK06) on a Photon? I'd like to think that Moto probably didn't change much between the Atrix and Photon, but the only review I've found online that specifically referred to both the Rii RT-MWK06 and Photon was a review on Amazon by a guy who said point blank that it didn't work (though it's unknown whether he knew he had to enter the 4-digit code on the keyboard to complete the pairing, and whether the keyboard itself wasn't broken/defective).

Just unboxed 2 H96 PRO+ 3/32 android box's and I can't get ether of the Rii mini i8+ bluetooth keyboards to work at all with these devices. Please please someone help me.
I have tried both methods. I have paired the bluetooth with the devices bluetooth and it says paired but won't work at all. I have also placed the dongle in the USB port and the blue light on the keyboard stops blinking as if it's paired but nothing?
Now if I pair it with my tablet everything (track pad,D-pad, keyboard) work flawlessly. So there is some issue with them not working with the Android box. Plz Plz help me as I am very excited to get these up and working.

Have you found a solution to this yet? I am having same problem with same hardware - H96 Pro Plus/Rii mini i8 (BT model)

Try using a USB extender for the receiver off the Android box I had a similar issue where the box was giving off interference and the receiver wasn't able to communicate with their R-II
