[RIL] Data Fixes for the 6.0.1 bootloader [Nougat][Marshmallow]

is there a way to make this data fix work on a f2fs file system rom???

Ckelley,

If you unzip the data zip, you can go to the Meta-inf folder, com, google, android, and you will find the updater-script file.

The second and third line say "ext4" for mounting the /system partition.
Change that to "f2fs" instead. Rezip the contents and try flashing that.

My computer is elsewhere at present to download files, perhaps latter this weekend I can put one together of you don't get a chance to try it.

Still cant get data to work... Everything else seems to work just fine.... Tried several different things but had no luck so far on getting data to work on mickeys lolli famous v2 f2fs rom.

Oh! Lolli ROM, as in lollipop? This data zip is for mm and n only!

You need to be on the 5.1 data zips.

So neither data zip one or two worked? Did they flash after changing the updater script? Thanks for the freed back.

Bummer, have you had success with any other f2fs roms, or tried any?

No sure havent but id like too. Just so hard to find roms for the Note Edge.... If you know of any id be more than happy to give it a shot
