Hey people, the thing is i downloaded GETRIL app from market. my RIL and modem didn't matched, so I decided to click the download RIL button and then download the matching modem. my first choice was LPS RIL. then as LPS modem wasn't getting any signal at all, I decided to try with LPW RIL. done it, match the modem, everything perfect.
Since then i can't SEND any sms (txt msg) at all. i recieve without any issue, but i'm not being able to send any! i roll back to my older modem, try differents ones, but not luck at all.
as i change 2 times consecutly from ril, GETRIL doesn't has my Backup ril that i used before.

Question is: I did a lot and a lot of reseach, as i was investigationg another thing with RIL, and there is too little INFO about it. at least not a lot for S2. I was excpecting if anybody could provide me a list fo downloadable RILs. or at least show me whow to extract it from a stock rom.

Thx in advance!!

P.S: It isn't a carrier ISSUE, i work for my carrier, and looked into my line, and everything is perfect.

You've probably fixed it by now but in case you haven't I've had this happen before. No explanation as to how and why but some sort of smss service number was deleted from my phone. Had to be entered in manually in one of the service mode menus you access from the dialer. I actually found the solution on my telcos websites troubleshooting section under can't send SMS. Once I tried all their steps of reset your phone etc etc it lead to the inevitable call up customer support. But in fine print at the bottom it said or for advanced users click here. There it had the instructions on how to input the number, what my telcos SMS number was etc. It was a long time ago I did this so sorry if some of the info is pretty vague. I seem to recall my sim wouldn't work in other phones to send messages either, yet other sims would work in my phone. So I'm guessing its some data stored in the sim card that maybe got corrupt on its own, or by rim flashing :D
