Ringtone picker activity...

That selects notifications (stock on HTC) is light years behind the way handcent does this.

For third party apps handcent can be used to select notifications...is there's hack that lets me use handcent with HTC core notifications?

My guess would be nothing detrimental, however, I would recommend a nand backup. Then freeze it and see what happens.

so....how do I point HTC to another picker though? after some consideration I decided that just removing the stock wouldn't make the rezound look to handcent to get the job done...more than likely I'd buy my self a ticket to fc paradise

He said "I would recommend a nand backup" That means going to recovery and doing a Nandroid backup. This would protect you if you removed a system required file that you could not put back. You could then restore the nandroid backup to get back to where you were before you tried.
