You must press power button for 10-15 sec to power cycle the phone
Or open it up and remove battery socket
Or wait for battery drained out
And after that edl will accept hello package

have you tried the procedure with MIFLASH? I only use miflash when I have access to fastboot.
I advise you to use QFIL and to select the pro_emmc file that I put in the .RAR file and I disconnected the battery and accessed the EDL with the test points
