Rogers has just pushed an Update - More than a Month after just about every other Canadian Carrier - We'll see if it includes the September Security Patch...

Edit: No September Security Patch - And it may not happen to you - But I had System UI has Stopped - Had to Boot into Stock Recovery and Factory Reset - Royal PITA!

Yes - Power off your phone - Press - Power +Volume Up + Bixby Button to Reboot into Recovery - and Factory Reset - Wipe Caches - Reboot and Setup your phone all over again.

That's great - I didn't receive it until 09/28 (the update also wasn't available on sammobile.com until 09/28) - And the update resulted in "System UI has Stopped" on my device (apparently I'm not alone) - And the solution to the System UI issue is now posted ;)

The screen shot that I posted earlier was a reply to me from Rogers on Twitter... If that's what you mean.

You're the guy who had the System UI has Stopped... right?
Did you fix it by doing what I said was the solution?

There's no reason why the Factory Reset shouldn't work - It resets everything except for the OTA Firmware update from the Carrier... I'm not sure what you mean by "... I just make sure that my phone died...."?

after I did the update (which came from the Carrie) I've been getting that error. then I rebooted my phone the factory reset my phone thinking it would fix the problem it didn't. Cause every time I turn my phone off an turn it back on That same error comes back. So what i need to do is do a roll back to the update I had before.

No you don't - You need to Boot into the Stock Recovery - Volume key to select Factory Reset - Volume key to select Yes - Power key to Execute the Factory Reset - Volume key to select Wipe Caches - Power key to Execute - Volume key to Select Reboot.
Nothing that you changed from the time you got the phone will be left on your phone.

The Firmware version displayed in the screen shot below is working perfectly now.

Well I'm sure that you understand that I have no way of knowing how experienced you are - So I'm erring on the side of caution ?
You might want to call your Carrier's Tech support... There's no reason why you're continuing to get a System UI error.
