Rolled back me176cx from lollipop to kitkat, rooted, Xposed doesn't work

As the title says, after the rollback of my 176cx from lollipop to kitkat, i succesfully rooted (flashed supersu 2.76 via tethered twrp), and then installed Xposed, no error but the settings in gravity box for kitkat are ignored (no change at all).
I tried xposed 2.6.1 then 2.7.1 and have gravity box 3.5.14, so what did i miss?

Well, it's not xposed that doesn't work, but gravity box itself (i've checked it's the kk latest version).
