you might be able to but why would want to? this is no longer being maintained (LeeDroid however is still maintained) so I wouldn't but its up to you. I personally only run AOSP so I have no actual life experience with this ROM or LeeDroid, but both are Sense based so I would think it should work (again, no personal exp with doing so).
I heard that ice rom is much better. Leedroid doesnt develop nougat anymore i think he's focused on Oreo these days. And yes i did dirty flash over leedroid with success. which AOSP rom do you advice?

If you're a Sense OS person, stick with LeeDroid (it's one of the best I've found, if not the best Sense OS). If you're an AOSP person (like myself), stick with PureFusion 8 for O and ReserrectionRemix for N.
I run only MM firmware (Sprint/unlocked/S-OFF/SuperCID) and have no issues whatsoever with either AOSP version (N/O). I haven't tested any latter versions of LeeDroid though so I can't comment on firmware requirements with the latest version.

I love both SENSE and AOSP. Can i dirty flash 8.0 PureFusion over 7.1.2 or do i need Oreo Firmware first?
