Hello to all. I'd like to know if it's possible for me to flash this ROM on my phone. I have an HTC One M8 with u/l bootloader, and was previously on KK, but thanks to the help pf ckpv5 I was capable to upgrade my firmware to stock LL via OTA (which is running flawlessly by the way). I'm on stock recovery and with Telcel carrier here in Mexico. If you need any info like the "fastboot get var", let me know and I'll post it here. My CID is HTC___332. (I want very much to be able to flash this rom)

    Anybody?

    Tapatalked from my M8...

Why don't you make a backup and try and flash one...?
I've found this rom to be smooth and stable!!
Is anyone finding that the latest update of facebook app is draining the battery? WLD I normally average between 8-12% awake time, with the new facebook app it has pushed my awake time to 35%

As I mentioned previously, I'm on u/l botloader, stock recovery, running Lollipop (upgraded via OTA) and I'm S-ON. Not rooted and with the CID number I mentioned before too. I'd like to cover my bases before I start flashing this ROM so I don't run into any hiccups along the way.

    You just need :
    Unlocked bootloader
    Install TWRP 2.8.70
Install the ROM zip in TWRP "install" menu
    reboot... done

Make backup of your current one ... or you know where to get one ...

Tried other ROM because i was disappointed with the preset customizations on v2. Went back for v2.1 and so far, this is the most amazing MM ROM so far!

Tried flashing and restored previous Data (from a different MM ROM) via Recovery. Not stable. I suggest, go for Titanium Backup and restore.

    Waiting for further build updates.

    Peace out!

v2.1 is quite good, but with some short coming so I am rolling back to the ARHD 51.0:
    1. OK Google feature is not working for me, and voice input does not allow multiple languages like other ROMs
    2. Screen unlock gesture is flaky like ARHD's, and maybe even more so

All in all, it's pretty smooth with some of the add-ons, so anyone can overlook some of the issues should try it.

    Splash Screen
Feed-up with the blinding HTC Splash screen and are S-Off ?
All need is your image of your choice and upload to this web site...
This will return you a zip, to flash in recovery :)
Thanks man but I already found the answer and since others asked the same and nobody said anything, here is the way I got it to work.

In my case I used the original Marshmallow boot animation.

    1) Download http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3442569&d=1439853885 thanks to frantisek.nesveda

    2) Extract it. You will need the zip "bootanimation.zip" inside /system/media

    3) Use "root browser" and copy the zip to /system/customize/resource

    4) Rename the file called "hTC_bootup_one.zip" to "hTC_bootup_one.zip.bak" (this is just in case something goes wrong)

    5) Rename the file "bootanimation.zip" to "hTC_bootup_one.zip" and change permissions to rw-r--r--

You are done. Reboot and enjoy.

I sent a link for a splash and not a bootanimation, two different things ..

I did not put a bootanimation up, this due, to respect to @nightcervant rom.

PS ... that bootanimation is not HTC MM sense version ....

Here is a link.. you could have installed via recovery, instead of all that messing around Android_bootanimation.zip

and few more you may like ...

I meant no disrespect to the Dev. I did the process like that because of the different locations where the files are at. One is in /system/media and the other one is in /system/customize/resource. When I was reading i found out that it didn't work for some people and just tried that way.

If @nightcervant felt disrespect because of this, I will just edit my post. Like I said, I meant no harm but the other way around, just provide help to others who may have wanted to do the same.

    Hey there,
I wanted to give a try to this ROM. I was coming from CyanogenMod 13 nightlies. I wiped all my device: DATA, Cache and Internal storage, then I installed this ROM using TWRP Recovery, I selected the apps or widgets I didn't want and rebooted my device. After that, the device is stuck at HTC Logo white screen. My device is S.ON but it has the bootloader unlocked. Did I miss any steps? I'm trying to set up again some ADB services to make sure my device is responding to some commands. If anyone is willing me to help, appreciate it. Thanks :)

EDIT: After some tweaking with the light sensor o_O I was able to enter the fastboot menu. I will try to reinstall the ROM as I could enter TWRP. Flashed again the ROM, waiting on HTC screen for any succes :/

EDIT 2: Recovery log may be useful for some developers: http://pastebin.com/xDYygS06

If your phone is s-on, you will stuck htc boot screen because some mod in aroma doesnt compatible with s-on. Me too.

Many carrier/network also have different locations and names for there bootanimation ..

Most htc custom rom dev's (like @nightcervant) change the location and name in the cid/default.xml for that carrier/network, to htc standard customize/resource/hTC_bootup_one.zip.
Then all variants all can enjoy there boot animation :)

Here are all the mods implemented in v2.1 that you can install in flavor :

      1. Install APM + Back kill
      2. battery% "only battery %"
      3. circle battery "only circle battery %"
      4. circle battery small trasparence "circle battery% + small navbar + trasparence menù"
      5. No battery small "no battery + small navbar"
      6. No battery "only no battery"
      7. No battery small trasparence "No battery + small navbar + trasparence menù"

      Delete:
Ambient display and clock central , since at the time they create micro lag , the central clock is bugged and ambient display does not function properly , and slightly increases the demand on battery
