Not necessary, and a whole lot of extra work, if updating incrementally to the next ViperOne 4.x.x release.

Thanks. I went with a dirty flash and everything seems to work fine had to reinstall Xposed though, but only took q quick reflash in recovery.

I DID update to the latest Sprint 3.41 firmware first (re-locked the bootloader, did an RUU fastboot push, re-unlocked the bootloader, pushed the latest TWRP recovery, THEN ran the 4.3.0 ROM installer with a full wipe).

One thing I have noticed that seems a bit odd is that under the CPU tab on Venom Tweaks, Disable PNPMGR doesn't stay enabled between reboots, and I have no access to throttle down the CPU frequency at all.

I can disable cores, but can't actually adjust the max/min clock.
I don't know if this is known or expected under this ROM or kernel.

FWIW, I've already tried wiping/reflashing just in case it was a bad flash.

Any insights into this?

They have not done a custom kernel yet. So most of the previous options will not be there until they do. The MM kernel source was just released recently.

I have apply settings on boot enabled (sorry, should have said that before).
That's how the cores I have disabled stay disabled between reboots.

But the Disable PNPMGR just won't stay enabled no matter what.

I've already done three full wipes/reinstalls...don't know what else to try.

Ok you are right, disable pnp doesn't survive a reboot.
But to be honest, I wouldn't suggest to disable pnp, as it controls a lot things and not just the frequencies.
For me there isn't a good reason, to disable pnp.

I've just updated to 4.3 from 3.5, since TMOUS is fully supported now. I've got nearly everything configured to my liking, however I'm having trouble with one bit, which just happened to be one of my favorite things on 3.5. Before I wiped everything and updated, I could swipe down once on the right side of the status bar to pull down the quick settings. Now, for the life of me, I can't find the setting for that anywhere I look. Anyone know where specifically that one is, or has it been removed?

The tweak "quick pull-down" wasn't ported yet to Android MM.
And currently the devs are busy with private stuff/ real live, so that there are no additions at the moment.
The tweak might come back in the future, but don't expect it in the near future.

ElementalX does have a MM version now. Same as ViperOne, not all of their previous features are implemented, but it's working great.

Hi everyone, does anybody else have problems with lockscreen motion gestures?
All gestures are enabled on settings, and I set via venom tweaks to launch a custom app when sliding left right and down, and it doesn't seem to work... It only unlocks the screen like when sliding up. Any suggestions? Am I missing something?

obviously thats version doesnt include jans tweaks,
so just uninstall the update from playstore...

there are additional libs from android 6.1 (see changelog) which will give you better (3d) performance

There is a way to avoid updates, even manual updates, but Xposed framework needs to be installed. Im using Xposed anyways and didnt noticed lags or weird behavior. If somebody is using Xposed… module name is Storeprefs

your problem is your firmware -- you need to update to compatible Marshmallow firmware first.

Since you're s-off and unlocked, you'll need to manually flash your firmware update.

If you're on a SPRINT M9, you can get the most up-to-date firmware to manually flash at his link:

If you're M9 is on another carrier, there may be carrier-specific instructions for how to obtain and manually flash the most up-to-date elsewhere.
