Did you checked your phone number in the sms advanced settings or tried to reedit APN?
I didn't have this problem on AEX, but faced it on lineage some time ago and don't remember how i'd managed to resolve but is one of the options.

Thank you for this great work! I use this ROM as daily driver now since two days and it is quite fast and has only minor bugs as far as I can see. The search function in the settings crashes every time you try to use it and I have the impression, that the battery doesn't last as long as with the latest official version of AEX, but nevertheless it's very usable as daily driver.

Yes, I use the latest Alpha but the search function doesn't work for me.

I would advise clean flash in that case and see if it helps since I cannot confirm this bug on latest alpha.

I did a clean flash with this version two days before... I could try to flash it again, but my current installation should be clean. But this bug doesn't bother me anyway. This ROM is great for an Alpha.

Yes, I'm using it for a week and it's running smooth, it looks better than version 6.7 on speed, SOT and battery life. The only problem faced is the screen turning off abruptly, but this only occurs once or twice a day, not a real problem.

After the installation of 20191028 build the google apps stopped to work, reinstalled the gapps and the problem is solved. In this build a minor bug is the name of the alls songs, like phone, alarms etcetera now show the path of the file like android.resource... I don't now if only in mine.

Just reinstall it, for the swipe left google on home screen, reinstall and reactive it (long press on the screen, home settings, enable google feed integration)

I downloaded the version too, but I get a redish dot in the center of the hdr+ picture (like with almost all other Gcam versions on my phone)
Could you share your xml file or settings?

I still have the problem that I can't install apk files from the file manager, because the .apk is not linked with the package manager/installer. Still using lucky patcher to install apps. If anyone has a solution, let me know.
Other than that the system is amazing, especially since the charging led is gone...
