Traffic indicator does not work good. Sometimes it does not show , after changing icon shape and statusbar icons , it shows up ... After sometime it again disappears. Please fix this

Is it okay if we update through automatic updates in setting or we have to flash manually via twrp?

Is the mic OK for you guys?

I tried phone call and record audio on WhatsApp but no sound is recorded.
I thought it was the mic hardware but i tested on a record app and it was fine.

Getting this ROM to work on my phone was a cluster****

Came from official Lineage OS 2020/Nov/18, after every reboot, Date and Accent were reset to default, which was also an issue I had on LOS, other than that, good.

A couple days later, downloads became unreliable and installing apps would downright refuse to generate OBB files on their respective [.../Internal Storage/Android/obb/] folder

Determined to fix this, through fastboot I flashed stock Miui v10.1.1.XX, OTA updated to latest version, flashed latest TWRP v3.4, wiped all and flashed this ROM + pico gapps (had to delete the compatibility .zip from within the ROM), wipe davlik/cache and cache; boot
WiFi wouldn't budge

Clean flashed 2+ times, same result, no WiFi

Fastboot flashed latest stock Miui v10.2.2.XX > flash latest TWRP > wipe all > flash this ROM + pico gapp (again, compatibility .zip axed) > boot
No WiFi

Wipe all > flash ROM twice in a go > flash pico gapps but didn't wipe davlik/cache and cache > boot
Still no WiFi

Wipe all > flash ROM > flash ROM > flash pico gapps > wipe all > reboot straight to recovery > flash LOS without gappz > boot LOS
WiFi works

Boot recovery > wipe all > flash ROM > Flash ROM > flash pico gapps > wipe davlik/cache and cache > boot
WiFi works and reboot no longer resets date and Accent

Is this ROM making use of a remnant from Miui/LOS to make WiFi work?
Shouldn't TWRP's "wipe" clean everything thus making the above scenario pretty much impossible?

I don't know, I have no idea what is going on and have no cllue why it worked, but it did.

Hope this works as well for all those with WiFi issues

I had some issues with Wifi myself, though nothing unmanageable.

I suppose you tried this before, but with me, simply turning to airplane, then turning it off would solve the issue.

I can't say, but I guess it's possible to generate some log files to pinpoint what exactly is causing the wifi not to work.

Network location is the option of getting location information only by gsm information or Wi-Fi, without activating GPS.

Yes. Although BitGApps would be better.
P.S. There's a new build from 26th November based on 4.9 kernel. I highly recommend it.

v19? Rarely a BitGApps build can have this issue in certain ROMs. But with this version I didn't face any bootloop. I clean flashed though. Otherwise you can use NikGApps or if you prefer Open GApps use Universal GMS Doze module for enabling Battery Optimization for Google Play Services.

@sairam60 If AEX Q is going to be further updated would it possible to add the option to use Volume buttons for accepting calls, like in Flos? With the touchscreen now totally gone its a must have feature for me.

I also got a boot loop with BitGApps. Tried a couple of times with clean install. Moved to NikGApps and that went fine.

You can install them from Play Store. Also take note of bootloops reported by other users in this thread. Though I didn't face any.

I Flashed bitgapps as suggested here and I can install any app through playstore.
Some questions through:

First 2 can be fixed by using Nova. Third-party launchers aren't allowed to handle Recents so you would still need the stock launcher installed.
