Does this rom has a feature of headphones gain control? Also one more is this rom has brightness issues if flash dolby atmos? Thanks
PiXeN is the only custom rom for 6t you can use GH's Dolby Atmos, V4A... etc.. etc.. without having that happen as far as I know. Has something to do with the vendor I believe.. Stock OOS doesn't have the max brightness issue with those sound mods either but far as I know that's it. Unless idk something all other roms do lock your max brightness on when using Dolby Atmos, V4A, ice sound... etc, etc ...

If you want headphone gain control just use a kernel that has that feature and an app like FKM or EX kernel manager to adjust volume levels. ?

Are you saying V4A causes your brightness to lock to maximum setting on most ROMs? I actually haven't experienced this.

No I meant GHs Dolby Atmos or also Dolby Atmos+ his V4A. I've never tried just V4A and I don't use the other one made by other dev

No just Dolby... I haven't has with v4a either because Dolby has a dms service that the reason
+1

Hello, I am an inexperienced user. I have recently flashed ColtOS on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and I loved it, so I also want to flash it here. I am keen with the "simpler" method of flashing custom roms and it's my first time trying it on a device with two slots (A/B). I'm still figuring it out, so I'm having some questions about OOS 10.3.4. I am on OOS 10.3.5, can I proceed? If not, where can I find the OOS 10.3.4 zip?

I was trying to install TWRP by booting it and flashing the installer zip, but the phone kept booting in the stock recovery. So I only managed to install TWRP using mauronofrio's guide and files, using only the .img file (TWRP/Advanced/Install Recovery Ramdisk). Is that method going to work, or I'll have to figure out how to flash the installer zip in order to install ColtOS?

I tried dirty flashing it by only wiping cache and flasing the .zip, but I got the following error: "Flashing A/B zip to inactive slot: B. To flash additional zips, please reboot recovery to switch to the updated slot." Selecting "Reboot/Slot B" on TWRP, all the folders are gibberish.

I know that my questions might sound stupid, but I'm new to that A/B slot thingy.

Thanks apriori!

1. You can proceed with 10.3.5.
2. Use fastboot boot twrp.img to boot to twrp. And then flash twrpinstaller.zip and format data and boot to oos. If you flashed twrp then the process of flashing this rom is written in the first post and easy . You don't have to flash twrp after installing rom.zip as it has prebuilt twrp.
3. You have to google and see youtube for knowing how to flash roms on A/B devices especially on op6t to get an idea. There is a lot of video on it.

Okay, thank you! I have TWRP, I'll try it again.
