Camera is Not working,
Flash light is not working,
Video engine is not working,
Blink light problem,
Restart Problem,
Battery Issue,
Stuck at G Logo,
not working smoothly in comparison with pixel experience android pie. ):
Many other Bugs... etc....
...................................
"Improved Device Stability"
is it improvement??
its dis-improvement

Nobody is perfect and no software has no bugs! I am thankful for the developers! You should too!

Hello, if you have troubles after flashing zip like bootloop - try this one:
- make backup (internal sdcard)
- wipe system, data, cache
- flash rom zip
- in wipe menue choose format data (yes)
- go to backup an make efs, boot, vendor backup
- reboot system
- all work fine

Issues in november and december revisions

Found issues in both, november and december revisions:
- Freezing when attached to external source power, needs restart.
- Issues in maps. The solutions proposed (Magisk gps modules) didn't work.
- Frequent and unwarned restarts.

Nevertherless I'm very grateful for the developer work.
My thanks

The camera and the flash light doesn't work even install another app or Snapchat or any app else the camera doesn't work at all.
Please can any one help
I have installed the lastest update 14/12/1/2019
From PE official website

If someone did have an answer, you don't think that a way to get it to work would be posted? Why do people think posting two pages of the same issue over and over will magically get it fixed ?

I'm for real man. Geez with the bug reports. Go back and read first and see if it has already been reported. Give the man a break he is trying

I'm just curious how many of these people just don't read a single post before posting their "bug report", versus people that really do think the more reports the faster it gets done. Like it's not being worked on unless it reaches 100 reports lol

Android 10 ROM by PixelBoot

I don't know why you guys are complaining about this ROM a lot as this is the perfect ROM released so far if we compare with other Android 10 ROM.
I am using this phone as my daily driver and have never come across with soo many problems as you guys have listed.
And in some way, it's almost similar or better if we compare with Android 9 PIE ROM of PixelBoot.
1) The first thing I noticed is the booting time which is far better than PIE ROM.
2) It's buttery smooth as PIE ROM.
3) The same SOT I am getting which I was getting on PIE ROM. I changed my battery 5 months before and didn't notice any
difference.
4) I know the CAMERA issue sucks but the team is working a lot on this and they will definitely find the solution. The flashlight is also not working as they are correlated with each other.
5) GPS is also working good as it is detecting my location but has not tested it while driving. Will update if I see any problem.
6) I know we all are missing the PLUS EDITION but they will surely come up with this in the future.

If you guys are facing the issue then I will let you know how I installed the ROM and what I did to overcome with the problems which I encountered after the installation.

The installation process:-
1) First, take the backup of everything as we have to do a factory reset.
2) Fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.1.0-FBE-10-angler.img. To flash the ROM, we have to use this recovery.
To install the recovery, follow this:- Through TWRP Recovery:
Install Zip > Install Image > Choose ‘recovery.img‘ > Select partition ‘Recovery’ > Swipe to confirm flash
Link is:- https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VzHaUHirpf1QeYeTkh-3awttuVOzAaGQ/view
3) After the backup and recovery installation, boot to recovery and do the FACTORY RESET. I also did an advanced wipe
after this in which I selected all partitions and wiped.
4) After this, you will have no more OS in your phone so you have to push ROM in your phone with the help of TWRP by
connecting phone with PC and with the help of ADB. (You can search videos on YouTube how to push files with TWRP and
ADB)
5) When you will have ROM in your memory, just install it by flashing it with TWRP.
6) After the installation, FORMAT DATA (go to wipe/next to advanced wipe you will see format data/ type yes)
7) Reboot the system and enjoy it.

After the reboot, the experience of this new ROM was just awesome. It was buttery smooth and the booting time was very less.

Now the problems which I encountered and how I sorted out are:-
1) After like 4 to 5 hrs, my phone restarted and it was stuck on that G LOGO. When I got frustrated, I just pressed
the power button and volume down key simultaneously and booted in recovery. Wiped cache and Dalvik cache
and booted into the system. Till now, I never faced any restart of the phone.
2) When I installed MAGISK and did SafetyNet check, my CTSPROFILE was FALSE. So, to overcome this, I followed
this:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ATH032lIXs
NOTE:- Choose Nexus 6P as the device and the correct android version.
3) After the MAGISK installation, my PLAYSTORE was not certified nor even I was able to download Netflix and no
automatic update of apps.
So, I just went into PLAYSTORE app info, cleared storage and cache and wolay,
everything was working great.

CONS:-
1) Camera:(
2) One thing I noticed when my phone is in ringing mode and when I get a call, my phone just restart. I don't know what's the
problem
:crying:
3) And I am really missing PLUS version:D

Hope this post will be useful to you all.
Thanks:eek:

My Nexus 6p has always restarting around battery 45% in November patch. But it is improved in December patch! I don't know if it is true, but in my case it is! Thank you PixelBoot and Every team members efforts!

I wish that you could test all functionalities before release next patch or version in the future!

Nexus 6P - End of Support

As most of you may have noticed on the website, it's officially over...
With all due respect to the PixelExperience Board, the desicion was taken wisely. All due to the 31/12 build, when there were some slight doubts and exaggerated comments that the build was completely broke, I requested as for that build to be taken down, not to be shown alongside the 01/01 build as it was clearly superior.
According to the team, removing one of the builds is a broken commandment, and so no word was spoken to me about this. I was inactive, enjoying New Year's Day with the family, whilst meetings between the PixelExperience staff upon my desicion.
A total of 3 reviewers agreed to disallow my maintaining of Nexus 6P, even with the working 01/01 build. Before I snoozed to bed, I noticed the "This edition will no longer receive updates.", alongside the "Maintainer: Unknown".
I reached out to as many staff members as I could, giving my most detailed explanation in order to defend my position, but it was all looking worse.
I tested my luck and re-applied for maintainership, but it was instantly rejected.
Time was starting to pass really quickly, unable to have a good sleep due to the worry of this loss.
It's officially over everyone. As far as I have spoken with one of the head boards who actually took me into consideration, this is the current status:
    • No maintainer can apply to maintain Nexus 6P (angler).
    • PixelBoot is disallowed as for now to be a part of any relating PixelExperience project.
I'm sorry to break this news at such a bad time, but I have tried all I could to save this opportunity.
I don't want anyone of you to take my place as of now, due to large restrictions on angler as so far.
As a precaution from me, I have backed up all the PixelExperience builds I have published throughout Nexus 6P's lifetime on AndroidFileHost.
Finally, I will sadly state that I will not proceed further with this project in an unofficial way either.
I will be sticking to LineageOS 17.0 unofficial for now until things get more clear.
I need to focus on my examinations, so I will not be leaving this drag me down more than I already was.
I would like the rest of your decade to move on smoothly, and not let this news bring you down.

    Thanks in advance,
    PixelBoot

December Build had issues. PE team decided to take it down for several reasons. Issues are due to their new source code which destroys angler's camera and video. I'll be trying my upmost to get it settled with another fix. Sorry for the major inconvenience. Wish me luck!

    Install Instructions

    • Grab our recovery from the peripherals section and install it.
      Through TWRP Recovery:
Install Zip > Install Image > Choose ‘recovery.img‘ > Select partition ‘Recovery’ > Swipe to confirm flash
      Through Fastboot:
      Code:
      fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    • Install the ROM and then wipe your internal data partition.
      Through TWRP Recovery:
      Wipe > Format data
      Through Fastboot:
      Code:
      fastboot -w
    • Reboot into system and wait until the process finishes, it could take a little bit. After the installation is done, I suggest waiting before using the phone because it usually goes into thermal throttling after installing a ROM.
