Any update in this Project?

btw, I love your project, thanks for your hardwork dev, more power

When we'll got working device tree and vendor to build on it. Maybe in two weeks I'll test firsts new 10 builds when got time.

Our only Dev BlackSeraph is making a crazy work to let us the possibility to use working aosp 10. I know since the try in October this was dead. But it was only because lacking of knowledge. As now he 's doing it it'll easy to build : in theory.

N.b as many know, I switched to Raphael but I'll keep this device to continue to learn on my free time like it was always .. a hobby. All credit goes to BlackSeraph and AFR. But as long I have this device and it's still working I'll try with the few crazy testers to share some working builds.

By the way, i switched back to MIUI 11 EU ROm, and the android version is 10. I want to flash the pie version of Havoc and AEX. Is there a problem if i do this? I've never try this before so idk what will happen. Thank for your guide

No problems as arb lvl is still the same you can switch from firmware without problem. Only do all of your wipes before flashing different version.

No. Good for me to use it for moths now. Just follow camera video fix from first post. Plus, if you experience video recording having no sound, just turn off Ok/Get Google detection in Assistant. and use latest stable Open GApps.

I've been using this rom for a couple of months and it's been terrific. Has anyone had any issues getting hotspot to work though?
My other devices, laptop, etc can connect to the phone, but there is no data transfer while on mobile data, only while on wifi, which defeats the purpose.

No as Android 10 dev is actually dead on this device due to lack of device tree.

Pie or miui are the stable choices.

So until a device tree comes and I can build.. Android 10 is a no way.

It's kernel source not device tree. I don't have time nor knowledge to make one. The development on this device is stopped everyone stay on miui 12 or use gsis. Only way to have aosp extended is gsi over miui 12 vendor.

Gsis are working fine in most parts. I recommend you to check telegram group. Sometimes even full packages are shared (vendor+gsi) made by franssen. On my side I stay on miui 12 as I don't even use my mm3. Sometimes gsi need fixes but with team work this device could live a bit longer.

Updating gsi is a bit harder than custom ROMs. Sometimes it need to wipe data if gsi are not compiled the same way. But vendor stay on device.

Max 4 never come. 2 years ago with no new member on mi max family
I switch from mi max 3 to rog phone 2, im very happy, all is better, only miss a little bigger display, this not small but
Is very good phone sucesor, a little expensive, but have good battery display, stereo speaker is the best on any phone, 512/12gb ram, 120hz display, good camera(enough for me)
