What are you guys talking about ? I didn't get any error while flashing. I used latest official twrp 3.4.0.0 and cleaned everything including system, then flashed the 12.0.5.0 firmware (100mb) , then flashed pico gapps and rebooted. Everything is working fine and smooth.

Anyway, what does the developer mean by miui fx support ? Nothing happens when i tap on the mi sound enhancer option in settings.

Hello, after updating to 3.9 my phone randomly becomes unresponsive, the screen stays on, but interacting etc. nothing will work, power and volume buttons do nothing either. It is almost like all my hardware fail, and Whatsapp web just says disconnected.

However my screen just dims normally and I have to long press the power button to restart the phone, then it becomes functional.. How is this possible, and do more people have this exact issue?

Yes, I have the same issue. It happens every few days and is better once I hard restart.

This is my first time installing an AOSP rom, did a Clean flash with fw 11.0.6 global and everything its working pretty nice so far.
Is there an option to turn off the LED when the phone is charging? I can't find it anywhere.

Besides that, very nice ROM.

Hello all.
I'm on havoc 2.9, quite happy, but I feel like upgrade to 3.9, but a bit unsecure on how to do it. Not sure if I must take the middle step with MIUI or is enough to do a firmware (latest) update
Must I follow all the steps in the OP?

Can somebody make and advise on a secure way to do it?

Of course I very first..
1- TWRP Backup actual rom (2.9)
2- AllBackup all apps and data
3- Backup both (latest) to a PC

Any?

Flash latest stable firmware for your region, flash Havoc 3.9, flash magisk(optional), format data, reboot.

And regarding the firmware I guess that my 9t is a global version, I wonder if it matters I use a Android 10 or 11 version of the firmware.

also I have issues backing up the device with twrp 3.3.1.11, it refuses to backup the data partition to the internal storage, any suggestion? maybe upgrading to official TWRP 3.4?

And last, Does formatting data imply losing internal storage content, or only data partition? AFAIK formatting is because encryption and internal storage is also encrypted true? (actually I do not understand why formatting is needed, I thought that only deactivating security (password or pattern was enough)

Can anybody clarify this please?

Answering one of my questions. Upgrading to TWRP 3.4 made the backup possible.

Latest stable is 12.0.5.0 for global A10, format data wipes internal storage, and for backup don't use twrp but a 3rd party app like Migrate or Titanium/Swift backup instead.

Hi, does anyone else have this bug where Viber calls are muted?
If I force close Viber, and reopen it, it works and then at random times, when someone calls, the sound is muted and also if I answer I cannot hear anything neither does the other person...

I was on resurrection remix rom and left for the same reason.
Is this an AOSP bug?
Just to point out though, that before I had the xiaomi.eu latest A10 version. I didn't flash the one suggested by the OP because of the roll back protection...

Smart Charging also does not work...
I set to stop at 85% and start at 75% but it goes all the way to 100%...

Anyone else has the random freeze bug where the phone just disconnects from wifi and Whatsapp, my WhatsApp Web is disconnected, the phone works randomly, and when I try to open Whatsapp or do anything the phone freezes and literally does nothing, screen goes off on power button. This bug has been here since 3.9 and it is really an issue that needs to be resolved, I will try to get some logs next time. I have to forcefully shut down my phone and restart, it happens from 0 times a day to up to 10 times a day...
Please could you look that this issue in the near future?

Yes, same issue. 3.9 is very buggy

is a known issue. For example, Resurrection Remix ROM can turn off the night lighting while scanning fingerprints.
