Issue with the speaker audio quality

Hiee,
I shifted from MiUi 12 to pixel experience 10 plus, things I noticed which require an update are the system sound settings, MiUi 12 had punchy sound with loudness but in pixel ROM it gets very low and vocals go behind the music frame, furthermore I would love to see control panel in notification & Floating window feature like that of MiUi 12 or atleast split screen if possible. Thank you so much for this ROM, I get better battery life and very optimised clean look, really appreciate your hard work! ❤️

hi, after the last october update i've noticed that netflix can't play content showing error 5.7 which is generally caused by root. My device isn't rooted so i can't understand why it happens.

Same is happening here also, and I noticed that this update deleted the magisk modules from my device, has it changed the SELinux to premissive or something?

Picsel inexperience is a great rom. It's end of life now, but it's super stable, runs very smooth, has very good battery, and a few nice tweeks and customisations. It's a custom version of Pixel Experience.

It won't receive updates anymore, so you maybe want to search something else, but I'm still using it, and it's amazing. So that's a prefect rom for you. (It's android 10)

It is indeed smoothest and somewhat stable (Ray's is more stable imo), but how are you getting good battery? Its draining a lot for me even with no apps, that is if I use AOD (which i need to use); its like 2% drain/hour in Airplane mode with no apps installed (AOD enabled)
I had ran it on 12.0.5.0 fw with vantom 201005 spam edition.

I used official PE+ half a year ago, and it was a good rom, but I sometimes I had some random crashes (could also be my fault, doesn't mean that the rom is bad).

But one day my camera didn't retreat, I made a factory reset, but it still didn't work.

So I flashed picsel and it worked again. It also seemed smoother for me. But I haven't used official since about 6 months now, so a lot could have changed.

---

For the battery, I'm not using AOD. Im getting max 8-9 hours of screen on time, minimum 5-6. Overnight with airplane mode it looses 1% for 8 hours of sleep.

There is a big battery drain when you reboot the phone, but when you don't shut it down overnight, battery is amazing.

---

The screenshot is from a day when I was hiking, i heard a lot of music with bluetooth headphones, had mobile data turned on the whole day, and watched a bunch of youtube in the evening. I charged the phone the evening before, and i didn't charged it the whole day, so I'm pretty happy with the battery...

Thanks for replying.
That explains it, I personally feel AOD drain is too aggressive on picsel as compared to other ROMs for some reason.
Ray's ROM is very balanced but the AOD is too dim and almost unusable, rest is perfect.
I agree with the battery, without AOD it lasts very well and is amazing.

Xiaomi Mi 8
Google Pixel 7
just had a clean install of pixel experience the latest 10/31/2020. soon after downloading software, it seems all the video playbacks are not working right. It's laggy and without sound. It includes youtube video and instagram TV, netflix, etc. anything with video doesn't play right. Any idea what's happening?

I switched from the latest xiaomi.eu 12 which is now android 11, and thus I assumed that I have the latest drivers. I also tried the plus edition to no avail.

No rooting. I tried another clean install (install ROM, data format by TWRP), only logged into google after boot, downloaded youtube, and problem persists. Please advise. Thanks.

I've tried searching but I can't find a clear answer since quite a few months away. Does this ROM now support screen off FOD unlock without AOD?

Many thanks

I don't think so, but as far as I know:

·If you enable double tap to wake, you can wake the phone and unlock it with your fingerprint very easily.
·There used to be a Magisk module that enabled that functionality (sorry, I can't find it right now).

Flash the last stable firmware before the rom... Not beta firmware... I did the same error :)
