Bug reporting:

  • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
  • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
  • If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
  • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
  • Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
Have an unlocked bootloader, and TWRP installed/booted
(Not gonna be explained here, there'll be threads in this forum somewhere)
Flash vendor+fw (Recommended 11.0.4.0) (ONLY if not on that already)
Wipe data and cache (don't report anything bugs if you dirty flashed over another ROM)
Flash the ROM, GApps, Magisk, or any other mods (again, don't report bugs if you can't reproduce them with just ROM and maybe GApps)
Format data (type yes)
Reboot into the system, and enjoy the illusion!

So far so good. I only encountered a bug where systemui crashed when i tried changing screen grid (from 5 to 4).
Thanks for the rom <3

I can't get this ROM to boot. At first I thought I was doing something wrong, because it was the first thing I flashed after unlocking my bootloader. Then I installed LineageOS 17.1, and it worked fine. Is there something special you have to do to get this to boot, besides the obvous (unlock bootloader, flash TWRP?). Could it not be working because I'm flashing it with OrangeFox instead of TWRP? What happens is it shows the Mi logo, hangs for a bit, and then goes back into recovery.

Edit:
I know someone's going to ask, anyway, so I'll go through what I did:
0. started with stock (Global 11.04 MiUI)
1. unlocked bootloader
2. flashed TWRP
3. flashed OrangeFox
4. flashed AOSiP
5. flashed opengapps
6. wiped cache/dalvik/data/sdcard
7. reboot (looping back to recovery)

8. Format data in TWRP. After this you should be able to boot to system.

Why not just follow the steps the dev posted? :silly:

If doing so personally I would've flashed the fw+vendor 11.0.4.0 in-between step 3 and 4 and wiped data+cache before proceeding to step 4. May not be necessary though!

I don't understand why this ROM has so few visits and comments. I think it's a great ROM. I have made an analysis in Spanish (Sorry, I do not know English ... just the basics to defend myself) but you can see how the ROM looks like. Thank you very much to the team and I am sorry for the spam.

I love AOSiP, but it wouldn't run a game I play, and maybe others. I think there may be some sort of graphics driver issue on this ROM. I'll wait till the next build, maybe.

I didn't even realize when I made my last post that there was a new build that day. So, I finally installed the latest build, and it's great. I miss certain customizations, like changing the FP icon, FP detection animation, and AOD customization, but it runs really great and is definitely the best ROM overall for me at this point.

Maintainer dropped the rom, so there will be no updates.
I therefore switched to derpfest and i'm quite happy so far, even aa is working since the latest update.
