Just what I was hoping for my father use it on his Redmi Note 5, I can now put it on the 8t.

Just a quick question:
Before flashing I want to be sure to have a proper backup.
I can backup "system image" through TWR but there is no just "system".
Am I doing something wrong? Is it ok not to back up system is it the same as "system image".
Rather be safe than sorry

It doesn't matter if it's official or not it's just a tag as long the dev is maintaining it with fixes and updates!

Ok I had problem to install but finally managed. The only thing I notice at the moment is that the 4G that used to work with MIUI is not working on either sim slot also the play store is quite problematic (I did wipe the cache and Dalvik) but the apps are alway "waiting to download" many are impossible to update.

Edit: All App can install EXCEPT the Google ones (and my bank) Chrome, Google App, Gboard Android System Webview... Could It be linked to the fact that I started with a clean clean slate (emptied internal storage)?

Edit1: (Willow) Rom seems smoth and fast. For the moment every gcam downoalded crash.. in stock cam, front camera not working. Can't enable NFC.

I'd like to know this as well, if that's alright - there were two official builds on the Pixel Experience website and now they've been taken down and OP has stated they will never be official (I know he wasn't the one working on the other official threads, just saying.)

Is there some reason why Redmi Note 8 in particular will never be official? I'm curious.
