Another issue is Android auto. When plugging in the phone the screen will stay black until hard reset is done.
Workaround: open Android auto up before plugging in the phone. Once Android auto is running on device plug in and it should work as normal. This has to be done every time you want to use Android auto.

Phone issue persist still with other dialers, updated phone app, stable or beta. I'm believing it has to do with the telephony apk that is provided with the ROM. Maybe the cell broadcaster also.

Thanks for the workaround, unfortunately didn't work for me, so back to PE as this worked without a hitch, just a shame I can't select more 'accent colours' other than the 6 muted options....:(

Cheers

Guy

So for me its definitely not an app problem. I flashed both this ROM and bliss starting fresh without restoring and I still have the echo.
I too was having the call echo issue and went the route of a fresh setup. But I'm not sure yet if it was an app and one thing that I did different on this round was not enable the listening feature of the assistant during the setup. I have read that the always listening feature of the assistant can generate an echo for a users caller.

Wow I never heard about the assistant causing an echo. Is the echo gone now? If so I will definitely try that because I always enable it.

Yes my echo was gone. One one round of setup I called it while still at first screen of setup, verified no echo. Went through normal setup as I have always enabled assistant. Called right after the setup process was done and beginning the app installs, and had an echo at that time.

Awesome, I'm going to definitely try this later then. Thanks!

Is there OOS Cam or Gcam in version 4.0?

It was not available in version 3.69.

What if I already have twrp installed do I still follow the steps to flash twrp or do I start by formatting data and so on??? Nevermind I formatted data first then followed the rest of the instructions without any problems thanks anyway...

Bruh!!!! You are awesome. Just re-installed the latest, which I might add is friggin great, and went through set up without installing apps like I normally do. I enabled voice "ok Google" assistant and started installing apps one by one. Made a call and echo was heavily there. Went into my Google and turned off assistant and BAM! Echo gone! Thank you for this
After disabling I re-enabled and everything is working perfectly for me

Now this was worth waiting for. Very very good Chandra. Thank you. Everything I've done so far works perfectly except for one thing that I've noticed that isn't a big deal. I use lawn chair 2 and when app icon is added to desktop, I experience lag on homescreens. Not a big deal for me as I use one page ONLY! Just thought id mention it. But everything is just so nice

Oh and battery seems way better than what it was. Too early to determine but looking good so far

Question:
So I had a notification about task killer ending my rocket player and I tried finding it but can't. Where is this task killer?
