Hello everybody, I am a novice so excuse me for this stupid question : is it working for a Huawei M5 8'4 (Sht-w09)?
I search to have Android 10 or 11 on my tablet.

Hi, Surdu! Are you having any luck getting your internet upgraded?
Hi !

Unfortunately the modernization works of the internet line in the property where I live have not been completed, as such the internet provider cannot connect me to the fiber yet ... a few good months have already passed since the works started, I have no idea what's going so hard, so I'm impatient too! Anyway, I'll keep you updated as soon as I switch to fiber, because this custom ROM deserves to be updated.
The tablet had been converted from JPN version. When I originally got it, it had c100 firmware

The problem is, file downloads for firmware are difficult to get. I did find EMUI 5 which is needed before going to Lineage however it didn't rotate, no default keyboard and it is the test keys.

I can again revert to EMUI 4, the main issue with that is the wifi sucks on it. The speeds drop on it where as on emui 5, the wifi is fine.

I gues im not sure does it matter if its test keys or not. As long as it is EMUI 5 then it should upgrade.

On a side note, on thios build I can no longer access Project Menu,, tried the calculator method which didnt work. No dialler installed by default.
Okay, here it is. The reason you have no keyboard or rotation or the other little things that don't work is you didn't flash the whole package. The stock rom comes in multiple parts. There is a hardware .zip that has hardware and localization files in an update.app that is a lot smaller than the main update.app. The testkeys have nothing to do with it not working it is just that it gets flashed by itself by so many people that it is believed to be at fault. I believe the full file set is available with reference and link in this thread. If not I have the three part OTA from Huawei archived somewhere, I just seen it in the last day or so. I didn't realize I still had it, and yes it is from huawei servers when they still updated this tablet.

Does your M3 work for more than 3 hours?
My BTV-L0J always powers down after around 3 hours. In stock ROM, I could use it for more than 6 hours.

My media pad is currently on emmui 5. The keyboard was missing but was able to dowload keyboard from playstore/

Tablet is showing as model number d-01 j and version NRD90m test-keys

Tablet is working fine apart form rotation is now not working. ( using a rotation manager to help with this at present)
Bootloader was unlocked, i get the device waring at the start but i'm pretty sure its locked. Some fastboot commands that i cant run. like flashing twrp again.

I would like to do a couple of things

  1. Upgrade to 17.1 - Can i do this with what have at present after unlocking bootloader. Flash twrp, wipe and install the Ziip?
  2. Will i be able to fix the rotation? Does lineage have asny of dtata files like sensorhub etc...
some guidance would be great on next steps.
For future reference these tablets will show unlocked when locked. They get hung between lock states sort of, it will be locked and report unlocked when checking. Will also give orange state warning at boot while locked. I have a Sigma Key that reports it as unlocked while locked. If you think it is unlocked and getting remote: command not allowed, then is is locked or in between. Run your unlock code again anyway. If it tells you that it is already unlocked it's being less than truthful. Use
fastboot oem relock <your bootloader code>
then let it do its reset and set it up again for debugging then unlock the bootloader. The only real way to know is by running the unlock and relock commands. The white fastboot screen when working in fastboot lies also giving red unlocked text while locked.

Thanks for all the great rom's!
By the way, do you plan to build crdroid?
I'm sorry because I can't help you with an answer right now ...

At the moment I'm very upset that the high speed internet (fiber) hasn't come yet ... I feel at least 10 years ago, because I only have ADSL and it works very hard
Yes, I know ... you should look for some answers later, I know for sure that someone posted a new download link for the last update that dates back a few months ago
    I've shared it at:

What about donations for a LTE plan if it's fast where you live or if you have 5G.
What about donations for a LTE plan if it's fast where you live or if you have 5G.
I can not accept, anyway thank you very much for the intention .... one is to donate occasionally or very rarely or not at all, and another is to be somehow forced to donate month by month ... I have not lost hope I still wait, I hope to be resolved in the coming months !
Anyone have a boot image boot_w09_ten_20210618.img already patched with magisk that they could post?
    Attached should be it!

    Hello !

Android 10 is coming on your Huawei MediaPad M3 8.4, Kirin 950 SoC with the LineageOS 17.1 !

    Devices Supported: Huawei MediaPad M3 8.4 : BTV-DL09; BTV-L0J; BTV-W09

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Reporting Bugs
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
