Tested it on NEM-L21. Rooted it with Magisk v22.1 along with Gapps Pico before the first boot. Booted quite fast the first boot. The "Play Protect certified" guide you posted was also pretty easy to follow. I don't see any option to activate the fingerprint so could this mean it doesn't detect the sensor on this phone? Somebody reported to have it working sometimes before on this model, on the 1st page. For me I can't seem to be able to set a fingerprint unlock at all.

The stock camera doesn't work. It keeps saying "Failed to open camera. Camera may be in use by another application?"

Bluetooth is not working. If i attempt to turn it on it will turn itself off after 1-2 seconds and say it's not responding. Which makes System UI crash which then forces me to reboot the phone. Can provide a logcat if needed.

There's a slight lag on the animations but I guess since it's a 2gb version there's no miracles...

I have recently noticed that my dual IMEI numbers have become corrupted and its not showing anymore in the rom . Though I dont use this as my main device but still would like to have the ability to call.

Does someone else also have the same issue ?

Hi, i have a VNS-L21C432B506-FULL (Unmodified and Locked)
I have no google account on this phone, and no fingerprint set.
The phone works as expected, but its battery is old (original) and gives half a day of use without charge.
If you need any info from this phone, to help you with your rom, i'll be glad to give it to you.
Just keep in mind that i am totally newbie about logcats, and you will have to guide me a bit.
I have modified this phone many times (tried many roms), but now i'm in stock.
I can't wait to test your rom, and thank you SO MUCH, for trying to keep this phone alive.

Thanks, but I need these files from a working ROM like stock EMUI, thanks!
I am struggling to go to stick now, did a hard brick trying to do that. Even fastboot was not working.
Somehow managed to find the board firmware and got fastboot working and then recovered partially. But could not get to install the stock as the erecovery fails the dload method .

Any suggestion how to go to stock and then root?

In my phone (VNS-L21C432B506) the process of huawei erecovery goes like this:
    • Put huawei firmware (UPDATE.APP) in a folder named "dload" in the root of SDCARD.
    • Restart to erecovery (Hold VOLUP + POWER until logo --> release POWER and hold VOLUP).
    • Update starts automatically.
If your firmware has a second update like mine, do this:
    • Delete the first update (UPDATE.APP) from "dload" folder.
    • Put the whole folder ("VNS-L21_hw_eu" in my case) in the dload folder in the root of SDCARD.
Contents of folder in my case: "SDCARD/dload/VNS-L21_hw_eu/update_VNS-L21_hw_eu.app"
    • Restart again to erecovery and the second update starts.
Assuming both updates goes well, you will now have a fresh EMUI, and a locked bootloader.
    Also TWRP will be gone.
In my phone, both updates required for a completely functional EMUI (5.0.4)

It's a bit complicated as the above method is no more working for me. I did a oeminfo change to rebrand my phone. This has
caused corruption in EFI partition and erecovery fails at 5%. Though it worked earlier

At some point of my phone's life (somewhere in FEB 2018), i had the same problem.
    This is what i did:
I extracted all partition images from UPDATE.APP,
and flashed them back one-by-one via fastboot.
I know it's a bit dangerous this way, but you seem to know what you're doing.
So... you can try this, if all other methods keep failing, as a last step.
After flashing some of the "img's" in ther right partition, erecovery started working again for me.
INFO: Use 7zip to open "UPDATE.APP" and you will be able to see and extract all partitions images from there.
    UPDATE-APP.png

If i recall correctly, "boot.img" and "cust.img" did the job for me.
I hope this method to help you restore your "modified by hand" partitions.
Good luck, if you try it!

I'm aware. Just suggesting if it is possible, since you own the sources for your LOS 14.1.
The sources code for LOS 14.1 have nothing to do with source code of LOS 17.1 and also they not running in the same kernel. For moment there's no way to fix 📷 on LOS 17.1, so for all wich need camera 📷, they can use stock EMUI or LOS 14.1 . Thanks for understanding ❤️

I have already used it but It causes cpu spike and increase it's usage.
Try SuperUser root , flash in TWRP .zip file:
      2.

      Works like a charm ...

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

      Reporting Bugs
      • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
      • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
      • If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
      • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
