If I'm understanding well, that TWRP is only for A10 roms right?Thank you for the excellent work. I installed it sucessfully on a 4/128 Redmi Note 9 Merlin:
- Unlock via MiUnlock
- Downgrade 12.0.5 to 12.0.3 Global ROM via MiFlash
- Install TRWP 3.4.1b-0606 (for RedMi 10x by by wzsx150)
- Wipe by format (data, cache, dalvik)
- Install LineageOS 17.1 20210209, Gapps via TWRP
- Install Magisk 21.4 via TWRP
Just one little thing: I could not get the Aux Cams to work with any GCam config. Would somebody please upload a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Stock Camera APK extracted from the stock ROM?

please help me with custom os installation installed linageOS from https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...redmi-note-9-redmi-10x-4g-unofficial.4228007/ but when want to reboot back to system it says : No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot? i don't undertand why the custom rom didn't install. I just copied the .zip file with the custom rom in the phone and hit install in TWRP. What did i do wrong?
it still doesn't work, after the installation was completed, it rebooted again in TWRP and still says that no OS is installed. How do i know i didn't f*cked up my phone? I didn't know how to do a custom recovery at the time, any guidence? pls?

One question: should i install the 12.0.6.0 version or 12.07 ? i found that 12.0.7.0 is too new and doesnt have that much support. Does it even matter?

However, you should probably consider a different and more recent ROM at this point in time. This one is almost half a year old, and not getting any updates. How much time will you get out of it before the lack of security patches becomes an issue? I liked it, but moved away from it some ago due to that very reason.

I'm currently on Kraken, because it was the most recent at the time. But it's getting a little bit stale, so I'm not sure I'd start using it now.

LineageOS is a free, community-built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed any root implementation
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless). Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
Instructions
- Have custom recovery installed
- Download the latest LineageOS Build and GApps(Optional)
- Wipe Data
- Flash the ROM and GApps(Optional)
- Enjoy the rom
