Hello,
One thing I miss since I removed the Stock Rom is the volume level.
With the Lineage 16 I founded an App that increased the volume, but with this version I haven't find yet a solution.
Do you know how to increase it?

You're welcome!
If you need to unlock your bootloader, you need a service like dc-unlocker, I used it, you have to pay like 3-5 EUR.
Yes I know. Unfortunately, the procedure does not work because my inbuilt calculator does not have "degree" setting so I'm unable to set USB to manufacturer mode. Long story which I dont understand as of now
I was confused at first, but finally I understood the procedure to install Lineageos 17.1 on Madiapad M3 Lite running on EMUI.
Step.1 Build a LineageOS 16.0 environment
1. unlock bootloader
2. put LineageOS 16.0 .zip on your SD-card
3. put SD-card in Mediapad
4. boot bootloader
5. install TWRP 3.2.0-0 to recovery area
6. boot from recovery (start TWRP 3.2.0-0)
7. format /data
8. reboot and start TWRP
9. go to "Install" -> check the LineageOS 16.0 .zip file (in external storage)
10. swipe to confirm flash
11. wipe cache/dalvik -> swipe to wipe
12. reboot system

1. put LineageOS 17.1 .zip on your SD-card
2. put SD-card in Mediapad

Is this right?
No. The process will erase your tablet. You shouldn't try 'upgrading' as there will be configuration information left from 16 which may result in 17 not starting properly.
in this rom if you do scroll to the top then "search app"tap appear how can i off this function i want nothing happen when i scroll to the top

This is great news thanks. Hope you can help with an issue I have... I have successfully installed the ROM on M3 Lite 10 BAH-W09 but when I sign my sons account I'm it has issues with google Family Link see pic attached I cannot get past this and he doesn't want to lose his account

Never mind - I managed to roll back to LOS 16 install gapps for it - installed and configured Family link then rebooted to recovery and upgraded to LOS 17 and flashed gapps for Android 10 and all the settings were fine after that - my son is happy now - look forward to LOS 18 in 2022

No, unfortunately it doesn't work on your tablet, because you have a device based on the HiSilicon Kirin 659 chip.
You should visit the ROMs compatible with this chip such as HUAWEI HONOR 9 LITE, HUAWEI HONOR 7X or HUAWEI P20 LITE - all these devices have dedicated development sections here on xda, and it would even be advisable to ask directly there, maybe someone will be able to help ! -

Instructions :
0. LOS 17.1 must be installed via TWRP 3.3.1-0
1. After device boot on LOS 17.1 you must to install the New TWRP 3.3.1-3
( TWRP 3.3.1-3 needed for flash GApps on LOS 17.1 )
2. plug USB cable to your Desktop/Laptop for copy files ( or add them to a external storage/microSD card )
3. go to Wipe -> Swipe to Factory Reset
4. copy LOS-17.1 ROM & GApps to Internal/External Storage
5. go to Install -> check the LOS zip file
6. Add more Zips
7. check GApps zip file
8. Swipe to confirm Flash
9. Wipe cache/dalvik -> Swipe to Wipe
10. Reboot System
