I upgraded from 6.8 to 6.9. I have a problem with recording videos, they have this image. Is it a rom 6.9 bug?

Kernel replacement did not resolve the video issue (Predator 8.4 oldcam).

I'm on 6.8. Screen Cast gives green display on TV. Does anyone else face this issue? I don't see anything about it in 6.9 changelog too.

The problem is of the ROM not of the Kernel

Formatting sdcard as internal storage

since updating my ROM to crDroid 6.9, I try in vain to set up my 64GB sd-card on my Redmi Note 7 as internal memory. The error message from the log file is:

In "Settings - Memory", after two more attempts, it was displayed that the memory was damaged. However, it could then easily be set up as an external memory.
Is this a ROM problem or is it the smartphone hardware?

I've had the same issue on the newest build of Lineage4MicroG, imho it's either an issue of the base (LOS) or the new V10 firmware (or a combination of both)

It might have something to do with "Some roms use NEW cam blobs that cause EIS fail with glitches on screen border on the side."
Back in March I compared the then microG ROM candidates: crDroid 6.3, HavocOS 3.1, AospExtended 7 all based on Android 10. I did go with crDroid 6.3 and I'm still on this version.

I'm looking for the best Custom ROM microG and GCam video performance (EIS, smooth autofocus) experience, so any suggestion and insight is helpful. So far crDroid 6.3 with MGC_7.4.104_Parrot043-v4.apk (Parrot043, 2020-08-13) compared to an older GCam APK seems to work well for smooth autofocus, but a little less good on EIS. It seems to upgrade/change to any other ROM or GCam currently is not to suggest in my use case?

No, i meant the 'original' lastet build (20200826) here: https://download.lineage.microg.org/lavender/

I'm now on an AICP-build (https://dwnld.aicp-rom.com/device/lavender/WEEKLY/aicp_lavender_q-15.0-WEEKLY-20200701.zip) with works well with CGAM and also ANXCamera .. but I have to be honest: I'm not a cam enthusiast/expert

All the newer builds I've tested have these camera issues, regardless of whether LOS4MicroG, AICP or crDroid ...

I saw on their website the 7.0 version is upcoming. Maybe we will have to wait longer because we are jumping to new version like we did from 5.9 to 6.0.

I do not think it happen. Dev working hard on Weeb Projekt which I'm using right now 1.7.0+ and so far everything is working nice and smooth.
I'm not waiting any longer and even if crdroid will be updated I will stay on Weeb (android 11) even tho it was best rom on lavender I was using to date.

On their website dev's say crDroid 7 will be coming "soon". So if there wouldn't be more updates, why doesn't dev announce this himself?

Then I have a little question before trying Weeb myself. Can Weeb be customizable like CrDroid? I just hate systems as stupid as iOS and the like.
