We can't wipe system yet.
And removing PIN protection causes decryption issue.
I tried format via twrp after that but can't mount /data anymore.
Then I had to wipe whole data with stock recovery.

Anyway, the "vendor from latest official build" means poco x2 11.0.7.0 rom, am I right?

I like the fact that crDroid has no Gapps included, so I can flash whatever Gapps package I want and it saves a lot of space on storage too! Every ROM should have an alternate non-Gapps version of it.

The post mentions OpenGapps but I can’t get them to work. Maybe bitgapps should work?
- ROM+Magisk+Gapps/ROM+Gapps sequence causes error 70.
- ROM - Reboot - Reboot to recovery - Flash Gapps - Reboot works but the Google apps don’t appear. I tried with both Pico and Nano Gapps.

You should first flash the stock, than flash twrp, format data, flash crdroid, flash gapps (pico better), boot once, flash magisk.

Okay, I did the same and with BitGapps this time. And no, it doesn't work either.
Maybe you should first format the data with official recovery and than flash TWRP..
I had the same issue with the gapps, i did those steps which I mentioned and it worked . I flashed 11.0.7 though.

It's not working as well. The 11.0.7 got pulled out and I didn't receive it and also I can't make effort all the way manually updating to 11.0.7. I tried 69 combinations of installing Gapps on this ROM with both Open and Bit Gapps from the last night and none of them worked.

Thanks. I got it working with few changes

Boot using TWRP
Flash 11.0.6 version for phoenixin (as mine is a POCO X2)
Format Data
Install ROM
Install Gapps
For magisk (after reboot installed using TWRP's magisk)

I'm install this rom firstly install this rom https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Mp3vBWYlr1vkKwWjLLLHTDoanP9YHE-j/view
Then install crdroid + gapps then reboot system booted
No need to install this rom...You on any rom just follow this step.
First of all remove pin or password or fingerprint from currunt rom.
Then go to TWRP
Clean cache, data, delvik cache
Then flash any rom and gapps
Then go reboot system if u face bootloop
Then goto twrp and format data and then reboot.

I try all rom . I follow this instruction ...
