I guess it will need some more time for the camera to work properly in most of the custom rom here...hope it will be able to run gcam in the future

No the cameras are not supported, it's just the app that works. So you could basically use any other camera app like open camera.
You can't even use the full 48MP. Wide and macro of course neither
