First of, thanks @T1mb3 @Eric_Lev and @codeworkx for all the work and getting this official again.

Flashed the ROM yesterday and I've been configuring and testing it today.
So far I do have one issue, WiFi Roaming between AP's (I'm using two Asus XT8 with AiMesh). On stock 10.0.0_H1 OOS despiste some WiFi disconnects/instability, the connection would mostly roam between BSSIDs successfully.

On the LOS 17.1 2020-11-12, it just doesn't roam, only way is for it to get below -80dbm~ and then it disconnects and connects to the nearby AP. The network in question is using 3 radios (1 2.4, 2 5ghz) and WPA2/3.

Side by side with a Samsung A71 on stock rom WiFi roaming is working perfectly.

Attached you can find a log, perhaps it's of any help?

Hi, I have the same thing with WI-FI, when I switch to another the data disconnects, and the only way to get it back is to forget that connection, then reconnect and then data comes back, I think it's the firmware.

Small update.

Seems like on the Stock OOS10 it doesn't use the WPA3 even when available? That's why it would work?

Configuring the WiFi connection only to offer WPA2 seems to bring back the WiFi Roaming to the 5T. At least the same behavior I had on the stock OOS10_H1.

Something firmware related?

Any idea how to fix Google Pay? I cant add my credit cards
Install Magisk in the recovery (TWRP) and reboot, install Magisk Manager, enable MagiskHide, also show system apps, hide Google Pay, Google Play Store and Goole Play Services (including com.google.android.gms.unstable).

Then install Magisk module "MagiskHide Props Config", reboot, open a Terminal app (local terminal or "Termux" for example), enter "su", then "props". Choose 1 and pick a certified fingerprint (I would recommend Oneplus, 5/5T, Android 10). Go back to main menu, choose 3 and enable all props. Reboot.

Check SafetyNet in Magisk. If it fails: something went wrong. If it suceeds: you are nearly there.

Open Play Store, Settings, at the bottom it should say "certified". If it's not certified, go to your Android settings and delete data of Google Play Store. Open Play Store again, it should say "certified" now.

Try Google Pay now. If it doesn't work: Go to your Android settings and delete data of Google Play Services. Open Google Pay again. It should work now :)

Thanks to T1mb3 for all the hard work, I finally had time to clean flash the official rom last night.

Try Google Pay now. If it doesn't work: Go to your Android settings and delete data of Google Play Services. Open Google Pay again. It should work now :)
Also thank you for all the tips in regards to getting Google Pay to work, i'd done what I normally would several times with no luck. Your last tip of clearing the data for Google Play Services got Pay working for me!

New firmware has been uploaded to Sourceforge.
Do not install it yet.

I will reply to this thread once the changes are merged into LineageOS. Hopefully before the next weekly on Monday.

Yikes. Unfortunately, I didn't see this when jumping ship from OOS 9 (couldn't stand the buginess of 10).

This is my first time switching to a custom ROM, so is it okay to downgrade to the 10.0.0 Hotfix 1 FW release just by overwriting via ADB? Currently, it doesn't boot past the OnePlus logo - whether or not it's related is another thing.

Thanks for your efforts getting this official by the way!

If you didn't get it booted at all yet, just reflash everything.

Then you need to uninstall your mods or clean flash.
Wifi works for me.

Did you follow flashing instructions?
I am having the same issue where the WiFi doesn't work after dirty flashing the official build (I'm pretty sure I've been using Eric's unofficial builds so far). I'm using the hotfix firmware and a couple of mods that are unrelated to connectivity (camera, call recorder), flashing according to the instructions.

Here are some things I tried:

1. Start from an Oct 26th build -> flash the unofficial to official migration -> dirty flash the official build => WiFi disabled.
2. Start from an Oct 26th build -> Full nandroid backup -> clean flash the official build => WiFi works properly (as promised).
3. Start from official build with a working WiFi (end of stage 2) -> restore data partition from the nandroid backup => WiFi disabled again.

In light of the above, I believe this issue is caused by some incompatible config file(s) in the /data partition. I expect that these files can be deleted and would then be recreated on the next boot with the correct settings. Unfortunately, I have no idea which files could cause this (possibly something in /data/misc/wifi or /data/misc/dhcp).

Do you have any suggestions as to which file might be the culprit?

Also, thank you for your efforts on the OP5!

Hi,

have a similar issue: Wen I walk around in my home, the phone does not connect to nearest AP. Conntection gets worse and worse, but the phone only switched the AP, if I disable and reanable Wifi. Wifi is 5ghz only with WPA2.
Maybe you have an idea?

thx!

New firmware is required for next update.

Make sure to have the firmware zip downloaded and manually flash the LineageOS update zip after firmware.

Successfully flashed official LineageOS 17.1 using the new 10.0.1 firmware however my WiFi isn't currently turning on. Is anyone else experiencing this or know a fix? I've also tried with the previous firmware and no luck there either.

Edit 1: I'm on Oneplus5, not 5T
Edit 2: I also installed Pico Gapps if that helps
