If it is your first install then don't install unofficial. Just directly install official to avoid wiping data twice.

There is no official build yet but it is scheduled to be done on tuesday this week

I have been using these scripts on multiple phones. Maybe these will work also on this build.
Scripts for migration from unofficial to official and vice versa.

On point 1, I dont plan to root my device will safetynet or banking apps will work if dont install magisk or root the device?

I don't believe so, your unlocked bootloader will still be detected thus tripping safetynet

You need Magisk and the module "Magisk Hide Props Config".
With only Magisk installed you will still fail the ctsProfile check on official LineageOS roms.

Oneplus 5 build is meant to be today and the 5T build tomorrow. I'd wait until they're released and then flash those ones as flashing unofficial and then official would mean wiping data again. Or at least that's what a previous comment said.

To the OP and those that support/helped to build the 5T version I wanted to thank you guys tremendously!! I used to rock CyanogenMod back in the day and always preferred a OS that was stock Android with minimal Bells and Whistles, I look forward to the preliminary installs and bug squashes if there are any to be fixed, I know the VoLTE but has been an ongoing one for most ROMs.

Thanks again and looking forward to giving this a spin in due time! May the 5 and 5T have a long afterlife!!!

On the unofficials my volte and wifi calling (tmobile us) has been working flawlessly. Good luck!

Nobody cares about safetynet. If you want it to work properly, use stock ROM on a locked bootloader.

You need to format data again either in TWRP or via fastboot

Thanks, made a backup, formatted data, and restored and all is well. In fact, I actually have a 128GB and not just 64GB... surprise!

Sometimes, after I end the classic-phone-call, the DialerActivity doesn't close. If I forcibly close the activity, then I can't call anymore after that. I use a dialer from Google. Tell me, please, how can I get the log?
