I clean flashed the latest build yesterday, since then the fingerprint sensor does not open the lock screen. It stays black and I am only able to open the lock screen with the power button. Does anyone have the same issue? How can I fix this? I never had this issue before with CR Droid builds. Thx.

Finally I was able to solve this problem.

- I flashed Orangefox recovery
- I deleted the fingerprint sensor related files
- I did a clean flash with Orangefox

Now everything is working fine.

First time installing crDroid to your Redmi Note 5/Redmi 5 Plus, or coming from another ROM:

** Make sure you're running the latest TWRP Treble Recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps
6) Boot up

For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).

Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

KNOWN ISSUES
WiFiDisplay

Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Does this ROM have maximum charging level feature? It'd be great to have it built in the system, just like in Syberia OS.

Try crDroid Settings > Miscellaneous > Smart Charging to be sure. ?

I've never updated my device to android 10 since I've been on custom rom since Android 8, will this still work?

Same here, I came from Oreo (Global Beta). Basically cleared my device, installed 6.11 then OTA'd to 6.12. Initially, I had bootloop then went to OF recovery and flashed StormBreaker kernel (4.9.241) then it fixed it. I only replaced the launcher with LawnChair 2 and now happy with my first custom Rom in Vince.

If I choose the type of GSM network and reboot phone, then after loading the SIM card stops catching the network until the network settings and wi-fi are reset and restart the smartphone!( I'm not use magisk, root, other kernel..Rom ver: CrDroid 6.12 last november build.

The feeling of using this rom is Fantastic.
Everything is very fast and very well responding in everything I have tried to.
Always crdroid was characterized by its sharp behavior.
    This one is no different
This is a work very well done from our dev.
@Ruturaj Kadam, thank you for this
