I tried this and now the phone is stuck in fastboot and not accepting commands to flash to it via fastboot. What do I do now?

Is your android debugging option enabled always?
By the way, You can always flash stock android using MI flash tool to make your phone working again!

I used these steps to flash custom android 10 ROM for the 1st time(Taken from Syberia)--
1. Flash latest Android 10 stock rom, flash twrp zip, reboot recovery
2. Flash latest Android 10 stock rom, flash twrp zip, reboot recovery (now you have latest unmodified stock vendor in both slots)
3. Flash rom, reboot recovery (TWRP is inbuilt in rom, no need to reflash it. If not, you have to reflash Recovery after flashing ROM)
4. Install Gapps (optional)
5. Install Magisk (optional)
6. Format data (this will erase your internal memory)
7. Reboot into system

Tried this, now phone is stuck in fastboot and not accepting files from the cli. Is there anything I can do or should I take it into an into an I.T. professional who knows what they are doing?

Yes I do and I have used it to restore my phone before. I flashed the stock android 10 rom to my phone and I have decided to leave it at that for now, as my phone has been out of commission for a couple of weeks now and I do not want to have to go through all this again.

I remember my 1st time flashing Custom Recovery & ROM. The process wasn't hard at that time. But with Android 10, it's getting impossible to flash custom ROM/Recovery.

I flash a new rom every week or so , it's as easy and simple as it gets, just make sure the rom u plan on using has a good maintainer and is well developed

Hello guys!
I have been trying to install this custom rom without success, here are the steps I took if someone can help it would be great! PS: I am on android 10
1. Flashed SHRP img using fastboot
2. Booted in SHRP and formated data, cache, dalvik.
3. Flashed the rom's zip
After that if I reboot I am back at the recovery screen, if I change the slot manually and reboot I get fastboot screen!

Can confirm, fingerprint sensor works now (more or less, works 70% of the time, works better with Vivo green light). Thank you for your work man, I love this rom, nice mix between stock android and MIUI.
