Hello, I did some testing and I think I’ve found out the issue. I didn’t notice that there was a firmware update, I installed it, reinstalled the build and no changes, the camera and torch were not working.

So I wiped system, reinstalled firmware and build and now the camera was working, so I reinstalled Magisk and the issue reappeared. I thought it might have been the new version, but later I found out that it might have been the remove_dots magisk module that I used for the Google Camera. If I have it enabled the camera doesn’t work, for any app and including the torch. So I guess that for the moment the fix is not compatible, I need to see if the dots issue still persists though.

I did some testing in a less than thoughtful process, so I guess I might have broken something. Before I do a clean install, does someone know this error and how to fix it? I’ve never seen this error before. It appears at every reboot.

For me upgrade to Nov 15 build also did not fix the issue at first, until I realized, that I had the dot fix Magisk module installed. After uninstalling it camera and flashlight same back. I'll have to try to install it again to see if the problem reappears.

Hi guys,

I have an issue with the rom, it has been a few days since I flashed the rom and i got several random reboot (it goes from 3 to 6 times a day).

I come from the stock rom, I unlocked the oem, wiped everything, flashed twrp 3.4.0, flashed the rom.

So I tried to delete the dalvik cache, searched on Google but I didn't find anything.

Can you guys help me?

Thanks in advance.

I flashed recently.. Didn't seen any issues so far.. Did you flash latest firmware 10.0.1?

Yup, i did it,

I had this issue with another rom (forgot about the name but still android 10).

But i forgot to mention, it's not a full reboot, just a 'soft reboot', i don't have the android message and the oneplus logo

I also had issues the first time I've installed it because I didn't install the firmware before flashing the ROM. In the past I also had an issue with a corrupted download.
Try again with a clean install and see if it changes anything. Did you install opengapps as well?

Hi all, while checking the order of connections using this ROM I was able to check the option o NR priority. Can someone clarify why we have this option? I was pretty sure the OnePlus 5T do not support 5G (NR), is this because this version as ported to Oneplus? Or I am wrong and maybe some type of DSS is feasible.

Thanks in advance! :)

Thanks for the response, i wiped the data and the cache and it seems ok so far, no random reboot. Yes i did install opengapps.

By the way, i think a i found a bug, when i'm casting/ streaming some content on my chromecast i can't control the volume (Volume panel doesn't show at all)

Installed everything as directed, almost everything is working as expected ....
However, the pulse notifications on tilt or on pickup is taking 2-3 seconds for the display to show them. Any body else having this issue?
Thanks for all the hard work!

As a last resort I've come to this forum hoping to get some answers about this issue. When using any Android 10 or lower version I cannot seem to download my purchased apps from the Play Store. It doesn't necessarily seem to be the rom I choose at fault either however on Android 11 roms things work as expected and I'm able to install my apps. My only option for Android 10 is Stock OOS. But can anybody explain my issue here? And if so how to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Flashed this build on 20th December 2020.
Clean flashed with opengapps pico 19th December build.
Rock solid as ever. No problems noticed in one week. Payment apps work fine.
YouTube Vanced is no longer removed after a reboot. Thanks a ton for this.
Security patches much appreciated. Hardslog keyboard appearance highly appreciated.
I flash Magisk (latest) after successfully setting up the OS always. So no problems there as well.

Hello!
Setting up a brand new Oneplus 5T, with this ROM if possible. As far as I've read (already unlocked, no PIN and required files in storage):
  1. Install recovery (TWRP or OrangeFox ) and boot into it.
  2. Wipe data, system and cache.
  3. Flash firmware.
  4. Flash ROM + Gapps.
  5. Flash Magisk v22 (says the opening post). Mmmkay, the Magisk releases only go up to v21.2 right now LoL. Guess it is correct for me to say this. 😅
  6. Flash latest no-verity-opt-encrypt from here (mandatory if rooted or unencrypted afaik).
  7. Reboot, profit and enjoy. 😊
If someone finds any mishap in the above please say so. Thanks. 😇

Hello! :)
Mmmmkay just a very quick question this time, hope someone knowledgeable answers soon.
Its related to the no-verity-opt-encrypt thing, I'm installing Magisk so need to flash it afaik.
I've read version 4 is required, from AndroidInfotech (v4.1) doesn't it?

Thanks a lot.

If you could reply back with a better understanding of what your issue is I can help you. I've had this rom on my device for awhile now.

I am to perform the first time installation, Mr.Conkel. According to the opening post:
  1. Backup before you begin
  2. Remove PIN protection and then reboot to TWRP recovery
  3. Wipe Data under Advanced (Do not use Format Data - which erases internal memory)
  4. Wipe System and Cache under Advanced
  5. Flash required firmware
  6. Flash ROM + Gapps
  7. Optionally - Flash supported root
  8. Optionally - Flash No Verity v3 zip ONLY if you are decrypted [This is not tested on Android 10]
  9. Reboot and profit!
As far as I understand, being a first installation on an unblemished device means it is unencrypted. According to messages #387 and #687, though, I need to flash No Verity v4 (from here I guess).
